[Feigen] Rockets seriously considering Silas with Hollins as top Assistant

I don't understand what's going on. They don't even interview JVG. They only speak to a rep of Vogel. D'Antoni is the frontrunner. And all this after Morey says the defense needs to improve? Now we have yet another interview scheduled on Monday with a Spurs assistant.

What scares me about this is it looks like this organization has no clue what direction they wanna go in. Maybe there really is a tug of war between a bunch of front office people and Les, but if that's the case, it ain't gonna end well.

 

The Rockets are racist. Italians need to start rioting outside of Toyota Center.

Rockets do not have concerns about losing Mike D'Antoni because NO ONE ELSE ****ING WANTS HIM.

 

I feel like the Rockets have many times lost out on "good" while being in pursuit of "great"... but "great" is so elusive that they end up with "average".

I like that they are principled with their plans and don't make rash moves because they are worried about losing out, but I think it's also possible to lose out by going too far in the other direction.

 

I think Les secretly wants to "lose" Silas so he can appease the fans and say some BS like Silas was his #1 choice but since he wasn't interested we had to go with D'Antoni.

Les would have no idea that the fans would prefer Silas to D'Antoni.

Just a couple days ago people were wondering why Stephen Silas was even getting an interview. They basically thought it was just a interview just to interview. Nobody thought he was a serious candidate. People here basically ignored it and didn't even talk about him.

So it's not like fans were fired up for the Rockets to get Stephen Silas. The only reason it's like that at the current moment is because the reporters have basically said the choice is between Silas and D'Antoni.

It's actually kind of strange how everyone is now on the Stephen Silas bandwagon when 2 days ago most people didn't even know he existed.

Exactly this!!! It happens in Free Agency and now with coaches as well, so many candidates and we do not even interview the best. You can bet your ass Silas will be signed soon by somebody.
