Morey better go balls to the wall and sell his teenaged daughter for Anthony Davis. He's been getting outbid in trades by other teams and passed on by cheap free agents for years now. Seth Curry was the perfect fit for this team and we couldn't even get him for the league's minimum. Lol.
The Rockets will make a move, they have to. The Rockets won’t get first or second choice because our assets are limited but they will get a key piece. Some of the names being floated on here are not realistic. The Rockets are not getting Tobias Harris. For 4 months in the media and through friends close, I have heard Morey will do something substantive to more than make up for Ariza. Yet... NOTHING. Now we get this optimistic puff piece from the Rockets mouth piece. I ask friends in Houston if the confidence in Toyota Center is real and I am told 100%... I ask friends in the Bulls organization if they they have heard anything about them the Rockets shopping... and am told the Rockets are looking at starting caliber players and are expected to offer assets. So I don’t know anymore.
Probably not but he damn well better do his due diligence. Capela, Gordon, and every unprotected 1st rounder we can offer is a damn good deal. Especially since CP3 is bound to get injured as he nears 40 years old and Harden runs out of gas in a couple of years and begins his decline.

Rockets need to do 2 moves to be real force in playoffs: Primary one: Knight + 1 round pick(s) for above average 3-D wing (maybe Ariza); Secondary one: Chriss + 2 round pick(s) for decent 3-D wing (maybe Darius Miller or LRMAM ) If Moury are planning to sign House than the secondary move is not needed.

Tobias is not another Carmelo. He is not a ball stopper, he don't take bad shots, he can drive to the rim, he can play on and off the ball and he is very efficient. He would be perfect addition to the Rockets' offence. His defence is not that good though, but he is surely better than Carmelo on that end. However, it's very unlikely that Clippers will trade him.
