36% career shooter from 3 on 1.5 attempts per game when he increases attempts his percentages may drop significantly particularly when he starts chucking up forced 3pts attempts as all rockets players do btw only 6 rbs per game hes not that special
The crazy thing about Ariza was he played so many minutes which made depth less of an issue. Versus Golden State he barely rested. In Game 1 he was in foul trouble so he only played 20 something minutes but the rest of the series he played lots. I never thought he was that big of a loss, but I guess I didn’t appreciate how much he played.
Keep dreaming Harris is my white whale for this team. Morey would love to have him. He just fits. But its impossible for us maybe we could 3 team it.
Oh it was obvious same thing for tucker this year. He is right now ur nest perimeter n post defender. Thats alot ask. Plus rebound hit 3s.
We thought we had some deals lined up but obviously nothing that came across the finish line. We really like [addition] and feel like he can help us. Trading [player] was not a cost cutting move but really a deal we felt like we couldn't pass up. Tilman has been nothing but great. We like the team we have. We know we're not the favorites but we're confident in this group. Now we have to go & prove it. We haven't played our best ball yet. We'll continue to watch the buyout market. Clint Capela coming back is an addition for us.
We feel this group is as good, if not better, than last year's squad. We're confident when playoff comes, we are going to play like a machine. As long as we are healthy. As long as we play defense. KBye
Watching Dedmond tonight vs the Kings. He would be the perfect back up. He gives you the toughness, defense and rebounding you want and his 3 point shooting is getting better and better. He is shooting with no hesitation. Pulling up on fast breaks, and making. His value continues to rise.
JaMychal Green is not a serious move. So, I hope they're referring to somebody else. He might be a solid defender but a mediocre shooter (this is his first above-average 3-point shooting season at a measly volume of 2 attempted 3s a game... I would take someone like Wayne Ellington, Marvin Wiliams, DeMarre Carroll, etc. We desperately need defense, but we also desperately need a consistent shooter. Harden is surrounded by a bunch of streaky shooters. Ryan Anderson is a god send compared to these guys.
DeAndre didn’t turn us down but that’s only 1 of many that have. Reading Feigans article already tells me that Morey and company won’t go after good name players. Instead they seem to be looking at the good story players. The Temples and JeMycle Greens of the world. DM also seems content with the “bigs” we have and instead will go after another F not named House to help with the D and hopefully shooting. For the life’s of me I don’t understand why they just won’t give House the remaining year guaranteed like he wants and offer him a contract at the end of the season. He wants all of not close to the MLE and rightfully so. When House was in the lineup he spread the floor so well! Now DM finds himself in a situation he shouldn’t even be in. DM should be looking for a big not another wing!!!!!!
6 1/2 rebounds in just under 23 minutes per game this year. His minutes dropped because Jackson Jr plays his position. 8.5 rebounds per game in 28 minutes last year. 7.1 rebounds per game in 27 minutes per game in 16-17. His Per 36 minutes is over 10 rebounds a game even this year. His advanced stats are impressive across the board. You guys are a tough crowd.
EXACTLY. Everyone praises Morey even though he had to give up practically half of the useful roster for an aging Chris Paul. Aside from Harden all the way back in 2012, most of his "decent" pick-ups came in free agency.
If DM and Tilman actually thought like basketball players they would consider this roster. Chris Paul James Harden DANUEL HOUSE JR. PJ Tucker Clint Capela Austin Rivers Eric Gordon Gerald Green JaMychal Green <- trade from MEM Kenneth Faried Trade: Chriss
He has a positive DBPM on the freakin' Hornets. So, I'll take it. Plus, he's a 6'9" SF. Can't find his wingspan anywhere.
