[Feigen] Kenny Smith will NOT be the next HC

Calvin watkins Tweeted that Kenny smith was informed he would not coach the rockets:

so did they make a decision and now letting all the candidates know , that there out of the race?

Kenny should be given an assistant coach seat at least.

If Kenny exaggerates anywhere near Charles level, his sentiment would look obvious.

Well, one of the few positives to the season the Rockets just had is that they probably won't play very many TNT games, so the host won't have as many opportunities to bash us.

 

He spoke about this tonight.

 

Rockets just got clowned on TNT for not picking Kenny.

Why even call Smith in for an interview? I would have just left that alone. Anyway they've already started the jokes on Inside The NBA. Now they hate us even more.

 

Thanks I forgot about the treatment of Cisco. No laughing matter and since they treated him like utter trash this team has been lacking leadership.

His ego allowed us to let Sam finish the games en route to a championship.

 

kenny's an insecure guy with a fragile ego. we all know it was killing him inside that a rookie stole the show in the first finals game in kenny's hometown (game 3) :grin:

 

Simply being interviewed for an NBA head coaching job raises Kenny's stock should he want to pursue coaching (nba, div I, whatever). I can't help but think the Rockets, for whatever reason, wanted to extend some goodwill his way.

He told Kenny not to take over the "Titanic" because it was a terrible, awful, no good job and he already had a great job. You don't leave great jobs for bad jobs.

Rockets don't hire him and predictably Charles goes on to be Charles.
