This is not about JT. It is about strengthening defense at the PG position. Lee is a very good perimeter defender. But Adelman doesn't want Lee to take away Martin's minutes. The solution is playing him more at the 1. My feeling is, JT is going to take Bud's minutes, not Lee's.

The question is, what are they going to do when Brooks is back?

Morey said at the end of last year that the defense in the backcourt would have to get better or something would change. I bet brooks is traded once he shows he's healthy.

Wouldn't all teams want a guy off the bench who can score at will? Isn't this the reason some of you guys want AB coming off the bench? Oh, and JT can and would pass if he was able to play every once in a while.

I think Ish has superior skills in terms of court-vision. I think he'd really benefit by spending some time with RGV running the team. He definitely has speed and play-making ability. However, I like the idea of Lee backing up Lowry in the short-term. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out.

When the media says one thing, Adelman does another.

I will wait and see, but as of right now I still don't think adelman will play him. Hope I'm wrong!

A move to free up minutes for Lee?

I'm still not convinced Lee can run the point. He's Jacque Vaughn when he was with the the Spurs...

Ish can just defend some rapid guys.
We need to try some other guys who can guard big PG when lowry is out court or he can not defend as now pg is not our score position, we need to do good defense at this postion.
What's more, for rotations, we do not need a pg who is good at organizing as we have Miller.

I feel bad for Smith but he is a rookie and will hopefully develop getting more minutes against other talent closer to his level in the D-league or playing behind a healthy Brooks and Lowry, like Brooks got playing behind Bobby Jackson and Rafer Alston.

Happy Taylor finally get a chance. Hope he makes the most of it, although I do see similarities between his situation and what went down with Dorsey.

Yes my favorite player jermaine taylor is gonna play more. I'm telling you this guy is gonna be a star. He way better than shane battier and way way better than chase buddinger. He knows how to score and has great energy. Hope he really gets to see lots of minutes in games to come.

I really hope this isn't the end of Brooks in Houston. He is an explosive player, even if his defense leaves something to be desired. Package Smith and Taylor for a small forward backup player, preferrably a defender.
