[Feigen] Isaiah Hartenstein "seems to have a decisive lead" over Zhou and Chriss as the backup C

He has a lot Mehmet Okur in his game. Interested to see how he develops

 

Obviously Rob Gray will be the first one get cut, and also the same for Bruno Caboclo.

Edwards will be a 2 way contract player.

Then the last 15 men roster will be set.

I will hate to see if Morey will try to sign Clark to a 2 way contract (Morey love to have a roster spot open) and he rejects it and find a better option somewhere else.

Between Clark and Zhou, its a no brainer to cut Zhou in a heart beat.

At this point, Zhou may not even be a better player than Caboclo.

 

Whoever learns how catch the basketball first will be our backup center.

This guy could be a star in the making he is definitely got the skills and awareness. Did you see his hands? Man if this guy gets his footwork down this guy is going to be a player in this league.

 

I’m ready to see Zhou, who at the very least has soft hands and intelligence.

 

The footwork seriously worries me. It's bad. Some people are just slow-footed. Ryno is one, Hartenstein is another. It's a fatal defensive liability.

Out for the 2nd of the 3 preseason games already? Weird for someone trying to earn minutes.

 

Yep. Like I said in the game thread, every time you look up Hartenstein is injured. He seems injury prone to me.

 

I actually liked what I saw in Bruno.
Why is everyone so down on Zhou before seeing him with our good players? IH and Chriss were not that impressive. I’m shocked with the positive feedback, I just saw two guys that don’t know how to catch a ball. Yes they can dunk it when Harden draws all the defense and lobs it up perfectly for them, but who can’t.

If for some reason Capela can’t be out on the floor in an important moment, I have zero faith in having Isaiah or Chriss out there. Not saying Zhou would be better, but the first two haven’t given us reason to stop looking

 

Anyone else notice his insane forward head posture? Dude needs to get that fixed.
