    Lin better stay. lol

He is going to show us how he, as a PG, is gonna coexist with Harden and Howard.

Harden can give up the ball more to Lin this season and focuses on being a full time wing.

It's a hard angle to spin, when they already tried to trade Lin, but couldn't because of his contract.

If they really wanted to get rid of him they would have by now. Morey usually doesn't sell low on his assets so I'm guessing Lin will be gone after he increases his value.

Obviously they want them to stay, so they can take advantage of their kindness, especially Lin's. They know Lin is nice and obedient and will cater to whatever McHale wants, and will do whatever Harden says. In this system thats especially important because they know another PG will complain and have an ego. But they can easily take advantage of Jeremy.

Do you think Yao had something underhanded to do with this change of heart regarding Lin? Maybe an illicit package.

I would be willing to bet all the money in Les's bank account if they are winning and are in the top 3 in the West ... Lin & Asik are going nowhere. Why breakup chemistry as well as winning. If it ain't broke/ don't fix it!!

I dont think Lin and Asik were really brought up before DH agreed to come here.

My guess is, now that DH is here, he and james have told Morey they want to play things out with the team, as is, and not rush into a trade.

Remember, before they were trying to clear cap space for Dwight, that meant trading anyone not named Harden or Parsons. Obviously they went for the smaller deals to make it happen, but Lin was probably only shopped in case they couldn't pull of the other deals, which was unlikely.

"Assistant GM" LOL - that's pretty good.

The depth of this team is pretty good w/ Lin & Asik, though if one of them were gone, AK47 would have been nice...

Exactly, gosh. if Harden didn't want Lin on the team, he would've either told Morey, or said nothing. Instead he and Howard went out of their way to let their desires known to Morey.

Asik can be great with Howard. He could come off the bench or just twin tower in the paint in some scenarios.

with Howard and asik we have a guy who is an average 14 a game career rebounder and a guy who averaged 12 just last season. When you have snipers, you need big guys who can attack the offensive glass to get the tips and put backs or grab the offensive boards.

It's pretty amusing to think of how awful the Rockets would be if Harden and Howard were co-GMs rather than Morey.

    Speaking of the Nets.

ummmmm i stated after the KG and Pierce Deal that they would be good. After they just landed AK-47...

That team is great. If they stay healthy. Even if its just for playoffs. That team CAN DERAIL THE HEAT.

Jason Terry, Ak-47, etc, etc ... 187 million team next year with luxury cost. IDC. They are lethal.
