    After game 5's heroics by
Eric gordon to fumble the ball.... I'd be pretty pissed off too. Again Harden needs to realize that theae guys are called role players for a reason. We need to get james some legit help this offseason. Not 18 million dollar pf's that go 0- or a dead beat Center that still thinks he's the star or already a champion. Morey and Les better bring in some legit names and still be willing to spend on role players.

Agreed. DA is a sore loser and an average winner.

What a convenient time to gas. Again.

Gassing is what Westbrook did against us in game 5. What Harden did... that's called IDGAF.

Will Harden ever even come close to Kobe or Lebron? NO. Bum ass couldn't even lead us to a game 7. Instead he laid an egg 1 game and a quarter + OT sooner.

Kobe's Lakers were a 7 seed and Suns were a 2 seed. Kobe actually led the Lakers to a 3-1 lead and did everything until he ran out of gas. I do know that Kobe would've feasted if there was no Barbosa (Parker) or Marion (Kawhi). Absolutely ****ing FEASTED.

As for Lebron James.... What game 7 did Lebron lay an egg? Here's a look back at all of his game 7's.

I watched game 7 and and the 6 previous to them. Kobe almost led a 7 seed Lakers to a win over the 2 seed Suns. Single handedly took them to a 3-1 lead.

You wanna talk about amnesia let's take a look at his team. His starting teammates consisted of studs named Smush Parker, Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown. Off the bench they had Sasha Vujacic and Devean George. ****ing stacked team.... I know. They shouldn't have won a single game let alone made the playoffs.

Yes, let's single out Gordon's turnover. That totally cost us the game. Yes, let's keep bashing Anderson for making 18 million dollars. Those were totally the reasons why Harden failed to score after the 3:12 mark in the fourth quarter of a game that went to OT. He also turned the ball over four times between then and the final overtime buzzer, including an offensive foul with 11 seconds left in regulation that neart cost us the game. Then the final play he gets rejected by a soon to be 40 year old Ginoboili.

But to Harden apologists and fan boys it's all good cause he ended up with 33 points and a triple double right?

What about, why does Westbrook not seem to need to rest (or does he)?

Does the NBA only test for mar1juana and roids, or also PCP and stimulants and stuff? I'm not saying RWB is on PCP, something's just off with him, unnaturally looking and acting too

Westbrook almost seems to be a special case, as far as resting, but in the series against us, he was often brilliant for three quarters, and fell apart in the fourth. HIs first game against us in the series was bad.

I do think this comes down to rest. That g**damned game 5 when D'Antoni only played seven guys, and Harden was doing everything....then fell apart at the end, which carried over into game 6. People can deny the effect of getting rest but this happens to James every postseason. He ends by laying an egg, and I honestly think it's due to the one thing his coaches have in common: ride his ass 38 minutes per game, ask him to do everything; and James compounds it by not getting enough sleep during the season.

Morey's message was veiled but clear enough: I have to get D'Antoni some guys he trusts to play, although some of the young guys he does have should have seen more PT.

He played really bad, & yeah thAts probably why, but always seemed to still be running around at full speed after so many minutes. Nothing to do with harden here, just something's going on how RWB's still magically so hyper without rest... or having some other kind of help.

    Everyone needs rest.

Game 5 might have been tiredness. I don't really buy the fatigue theory for Game 6. Even in past years when people said Harden was tired, I thought it didn't make sense. He often played better in the 4th quarter than in the first half. (They called that "clutch," remember?) If he was tired, it should have been the opposite. Commonsense tells me that you should be more tired in the 4th Q than in the 1st.

Someone in another thread posted a segment from The Starters where one guy observed James had only played 11 games in 39 days (or something to that effect, don't quote me on that). I have looked for it and can't find it, if someone would post that again I'd really appreciate it. And it was cued up to the relevant segment.

yep, that's it exactly--it was 11 games in 29 days. thanks for posting that @T for 3 . At any rate, I think these guys have a pretty fair take on the issue, I don't think they are starting from an assumption of let's-bash-Harden, I think they're just taking a cold look at results and calling it the way they see it. I think the fatigue complaint is just another rationalization alongside the gambling or point shaving theories. I just don't buy it. Either he willfully sulked his way through Game 6, or he's one of the biggest big game chokers in recent NBA history. I'm thinking he sulked his way through Game 6 because the effort and hustle just didn't look like it was there at all.

Gotta disagree with you, my friend. 38 minutes per game, 81 games during the regular season. LeBron plays similar minutes but played 7 or so fewer games during the regular season and has the luxury of sweeping Indiana and Toronto. Plus Harden has to carry the team. He doesn't have Kyrie Irving and, to a lesser extent, Kevin Love to back him up.

Now, for all that, I won't say he didn't just throw his hands up in a pout. I'd believe in the possibility of "willfully sulked". Teammates sucking? Not getting calls? In each of these MVP-candidate seasons, he lays an egg at the end. It really is like he completely runs out of gas and/or willpower. I hope the organization gets him some help, and by "help", I don't mean Paul "Help!" McCartney or Minnie "The Help" from Jackson, Mississippi or another Ryan Anderson. I mean a second star (fingers crossed).

But why would he sulk? Because everyone was pointing finger at him for the loss of Game 5?
