a few devils advocate points. The suns basically played 7 players for the majority of the year.

how many big leads did the rocket blow all year? that has to be considered when to play the bench scrubs. Like we all know, the rockets couldnt close teams out very well and that was again their fatal flaw in game 7...not being able to hold onto a lead.

What you fail to realize is that the Suns blew leads all of the time. They just had enough talent to recompense for it, with the exception of a team like San Antonio.

well of course lack of talent is hurting the rockets. And i do know that suns blew leads but i was talking about the number of players in the suns rotation and the unwillingness to play more of the rockets bench b/c of the fear that the other team would make a run...two separate issues.

If you did not salivate and comment everytime someone makes a post on JVG, this post would not be relevent. If someone comments right now something negative about Jeff, you would be at his defense. Posting everytime someone has a different opinion than myself would be idiotic.

As for manufactured theories, I played the game for 10 years bouncing around up and down. I don't need to manufacture. Before I post numbers, I spend the time looking up the facts and reading the interviews the person has done so I can form my opinion. Does it make me an expert? No! Does it make me more knowledgable than most? Maybe. Does it make me right? Never. I comment where I see the need to comment when some hack is way off-base with their unresearched opinion. We have quite a few knowledgable people on this board. When they post, you can see well-thought out ideas and I usually chime in with support. We have some real knuckleheads on here as well who post to see their name or because they can never be wrong or let someone else have the last post. I'll let the board decide if my post was idiotic or just calling someone out to let it go and let the departed rest in peace. Does anyone really believe you don't blindly support the dearly departed and answer almost every negativity toward him?

You did it! Damn, that pig thingy, whatever the heck it is/was, was big. Even The Bonz would have a hard time tuckin' all that away! :D

I understand. Bonzi's head was too large to fit the pig's body. It was a tough job to get him snacking on the damn thing. You had to shrink The Bonz to make it work.

We should trade Bonzi for a better PF than Hayes or Howard. And if we sign stevie franchise:

    PG: Steve Francis
    SG: T-mac
    SF: Shane Battier
PF: (whoever we traded Bonzi for)
    C: Yao Ming

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we don't get Bonzi's bird rights after a single season.

Assuming that's true, Bonzi would have to agree to stay in his existing contract, and THEN be traded. Otherwise, we'd use up our MLE signing him, and wouldn't be able to get Stevie. Plus, I don't know why any team would give up a good power forward for a player they could simply sign outright...
