first off if he really has a sore back then just stick a fork in him b/c he's not even playing and he's aleady injured. secondly if he doesnt have ea sore back then somethings gone down behind the scenes. either way looks bad for t-mac.

Yep, I knew it, TMac injured again! But wait, he is not even playing. In other news, Yao chipped his tooth on a bone at his restaurant. He is out too. (joke, don't get excited)
The Rockets are during 3 games home stand and they will have as many as 3 FULL practicies during that week. If he does well, I think it will be enough to clear him.
He probably got sore back because of overdoing it with working out, and all that just to be in his best shape for the MRI and his first game, following on to the whole season. Just appreaciate him for a minute it won't hurt.
I am 100% sure that McGrady is feeling better now than he ever did last season, and the rockets had no problems making him get out on the court and playing on one leg last year... whats the deal?...
health does not equal fitness. the doctors can clear him and say he's ready but it doesn't mean he's in good enough shape to play in the nba.
.. or that he's fitting into the flow of the offense or playing a respectable level of defense. I'm hoping this week holds some answers for us all. Things are getting out of hand.
I feel it will take him another month to get in game shape even if the doctors say he is healthy.(ie no more injuries). I admit this is a guess.
Well i never really believed anything on the internet that i read. Ill wait til i see it with my own eyes. Its less than 24 hrs so what happens tomorrow at practice and the MRI will determine if he is ready to play or not. Coaches say one thing then go with the next. Plz im sure if McGrady buses his ass tomorrow and then is fine on tuesday there is a slight chance he'll play wednesday or friday. Trust me the way the Rockets are now they are nothing to be excited about. Aaron Brooks is a turnover machine and we are soooooo short in the frontcourt. guys there is no reason to be soooooo excited. A healthy talented McGrady would do wonders for this team
in the words of our former great coach JVG.... A guy is never in basketball shape until he is on the basketball court playin in a real live game. Practice and a Live game are two different things....well something like that he said.
A MRI doesn't determine whether he plays or not. It only reveals the state of the knee whether there are any set-backs. McGrady's knee can check out to be healthy but he could still need more fitness work to be at NBA level.
Well if thats the case then maybe he does need more fitness work or it could just be a mind thing. Either way I'm excited and can't wait to see how he plays. Usually guys who work out with Grover tend to surprise a lot of people. Dwayne Wade being the latest one.
