    Yeah, we apparently have a source on the board, who has information conflicting with Watkins.

    Watkins saying "Could need surgery" is click bait, imo, and easy to explain away later. But who knows, maybe the doctor's appt today led doctors to change their mind vs earlier reports.

    Why in the hell is the Rockets organization like this?

    We've all suffered through their alleged irritations and contusions and sorenesses and strains that inexplicably last 3 months. Just tell us what is happening, we won't burn our season tickets over losing the chance to see Pat Beverley in a December game.

    I'm a Rockets fan. I've learned to live with the secretive nature of the organization, but Good Lord. Secretive is Morey's middle name. One day we see a photo of DMo diligently working out....the next day, he's scratched from the playoffs thanks to his back. Now Patrick "Not so Wolverine" Beverly.

    I know injuries happen, but don't we get our fair share?

    Regarding it not requiring surgery, that info was prior to this week's Doctors appointment..

    Why the hell would the Rockets FO tell fans anything specific about anything? That's just utter stupidity. There are LOTS of reasons not to share specifics of injuries and lots of orgs do this.
