[Feigen] Austin Rivers says “No Problems with Chris”...”not real”

I'll give him a chance to win me over. I always do. I may complain about the signing, but when a guy puts on our uniform and steps onto the court, he's a Rocket. I'll cheer if he plays well and cuss if he screws up. I just hope he gives me reason to like him. We need help, badly.

 

Obviously, it wouldn't be a problem because CP is gonna be on the bench till a month before the playoffs. LOL!!! In all SERIOUSNESS, we can speculate all we want. It's gonna show on the floor. Merry Christmas, Holidays, Kwanza, and New Year!!!

I mean, yesterday in San Antonio when I looked at Clutchfans on my phone and saw Austin Rivers as a Rocket, I obviously thought about the scuffles he’s had with this team; but if these guys want to make it work, hell, we got a decent backup PG and gave up nothing. Now Morey is free to find a deal for....well, a front court player or a wing or whatever.

Or maybe when we have small victories out there on the floor they’ll be like “Stepbrothers”, all high-fiving: “Still hate you.” “Still hate YOU.”

 

What do people expect to hear when they ask questions like these....

"Yeah, **** CP. There is a reason Rockets brought me on board. Its because CP wasnt getting it done. Oh and he is also a terrible teammate."

No amount of sugar coating is going to hide the fact that Austin Rivers is hated by players around the league.

I'm growing to LOVE Austin RIvers.

 

There's a chance this guy explodes and has to be escorted out of the building. There's also a chance that he'll be remembered as one of the guys, or even the guy, who put us over the top in finally beating the Warriors.

 

I think the tension was real but CP understands this guy can help us so he will tolerate him.Let’s not forget this guy dropped 36 points on us last season. Austin can score and he has a inner built dog in him that Doc had. Ask any Knicks or Spurs fan how tough Doc was on the court.

 

I really hope I don't see us set a pick, go around it, then back up 3 steps to shoot it contested. I get the premise, but it can't be so forced. It's too obvious.

 

If he was hated this much he wouldn't be on the team, as he said. With his 4 yr max deal Cp3 is a core of this team unless you think DM is trying to piss off Cp3 so he demands a trade.

Its like Lakers signing Lance Stephenson. If Lebron and him really had major beef then he wouldn't be on the Lakers team.

 

Morey and D'antoni still believes we should jack up as many 3s and layups as possible with no mid-range.

Even after last year's playoffs. We're gonna lose a lot of games this year when Harden is tired and none of our 3s are falling.

 

I honestly don't care, guys can get over anything if they are talented and help us win.

Horrible post! We were a CP3 hammy away from the championship with that philosophy. When the entire league starts doing what you’re doing, the philosophy is validated.

 

Yeah Rox should stop with the 3s and layups strategy. They only took a team with 4 all stars to game 7. Oh wait...

It is pretty dumb to blame the system when talent is the one lacking. Is GSW dumb? They have the 2nd most 3 pt attempts in the league. How many mid range shots do Steph, KD and Klay Thompson take a game? IIRC GSW has virtually the same system as the Rockets, are they dumb or what?

3s and layups are the present and future of the NBA. There is no denying it almost everyone are copying the Rockets.

 

If you miss a shot in the past, you should take a lower percentage shot in the future which will also miraculously get you hot again (even though you get fewer points from there). Cause players don't know how to count you know, they think a make is a make lol.
