Dude, sorry to hear about that...Be glad you don't have kids and child support as it would hurt even more, especially on the 1st and 15th...Over time I realized it was the best situation for me...No sense in living lie and being unhappy...

Do you live in Houston or Dallas? Either way, go out and bang as many chicks as you can to forget her...Nothing emotional as you won't be ready...

Houston is the strip bar capital, and football season's about to start. It's a great time to hang out with your buddies while you get back on your feet.

Sorry to hear about your divorce. Just try and deal with it the best you can, and look forward to a better future without someone in your life doing you wrong.

that's the ticket. you'll find someone better.

think of your ex-wife as Ralph Sampson or Vernon Maxwell's ex wives. they didn't deserve such legends.

Feel for you, bro. Been there. Done that. One thing I will guarantee you is that time does indeed heal all wounds.

My best advice, if you can afford it, is to take a weeks vacation with a few friends. It did wonders for me, not seeing or thinking about where we lived or where we went.

Also, I'd move from where you live as soon as possible. Too many memories, and the longer you stay, the longer it takes to heal.

Finally, realize that this will get better, and that there are soooo many women out there. I've chosen to remain single, but I've had plenty of opportunities to settle down. Your destiny is in your hands. And the best is yet to come.

There's been loads of good posts in this thread. I am at a loss for words, yet would like to say a big fat AMEN with regards to this particular post by Fatty (no pun intended :/ ).

Best of luck Harrisment. You are in my prayers and I am rooting for ya to pull through and overcome this tough time in your life.

    Doesn't matter what she did.

    Good luck man.

You'll be okay - people never think they will be & when they look back... it's just like Fatty said.

Take care of yourself first & foremost - and if you haven't already, lawyer up.

I, and others on this board know some good ones, so if you need one let us know.
