20 years this month to be exact, since this first came out... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/DmOzHNgSw6Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> maybe some of yall won't get it, but for those born in the late 80's, early 90's...jeebus...we're getting old.
A few years back, the original Power Rangers were on Fox and there was a watermark in the corner showing "New Episode!" I just thought, I'm so f'n old that they can already pass off the original Power Rangers as "new" to the next generation.
And 40 yrs ago was this <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/qSKIuJWRMaI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
for the nostalgic sake of the thread target demographic... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/KGlUBOzpkjY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

lol with the 80s tag... It's as old as tupac and the Rockets championships... Seems like time's standing still in the Hangout...
Man, watched this show soo much growing up. To this day I could still watch the movie. Kimberly in her skimpy outfit

I grew up watching Power Rangers dubbed in Greek without subtitles so I never knew what the hell was going on. I just know that: the theme song is awesome the fighting was inspiring as a kid learning Karate I didn't like the Pink ranger because she was too girly I didn't like the Blue ranger because he was wimpy I didn't know what role that column face played in the show (sent them on missions or something?) I used to practice that move the Red ranger does in his intro clip (scissor kick?) I wanted to dance and be cool just like the Black ranger I never knew why the Green ranger showed up nor why he became the White ranger I hated that the Red ranger seemingly got sidelined when the Green ranger showed up Then I went to watch the movie in the theater in English, and I was still young enough that I thought it ruled supreme and at par with the Ninja Turtles movies. Here's a taste of what it sounded like in Greek: http://youtu.be/5u4XNeRiS08 (embedding disabled) - The worst dub job ever! even X-men and stuff was dubbed like this, so I didn't fully understand the story of that show either (I still watched it religiously).
- the pink ranger, although girly, was the first chick with boobs that prepubescent American males had impure thoughts about. - the guy in the column i think was an inter-dimensional being, that yes, sent them on missions. his name was Zordon. - the red ranger does a tornado kick. scissor kick is more like what a pair of scissors does, and you snap your legs together. - the green ranger showed up originally to destroy the rest of the rangers, but eventually somehow became good. then I think, this green armor went FUBAR on him, so of course, he became the white ranger. out of curiosity, did you grow up in Greece?
Lol, thanks for clarifying! (even if I never use this information again ) I didn't grow up in Greece, but a neighboring Greek-speaking country

and a year and a month away from 20 yrs since the premiere of WE ARE WE ARE VR TROOPERS <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/I5wvWuGBLMA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/N34MmqmxqD0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The toys were fun to play with, too. Like power rangers, you'd get all the vehicles and connect them together to go wreck shop on your friends.
