And for those of you who have viewed "Schoolhouse Rock", you may recall that for Obama to do anything of this sort, it's first required for Speaker Boehner to actually pass an immigration bill through th ehouse.

He is been unable to do so for over 4 years....maybe this is the year he'll get the support of enough Republicans to pass a bill.

But probably not, becuase he really kind of sucks at getting anything through, unless it's a "repeal Obamacare" vote.

So your answer is "Obama was too impatient to wait, so he decided to go it alone"

OK, that doesn't disprove what I said at all.

Not even that good of a diversion tactic, esquire.

    5th Circuit PIMPSLAPPED Obama

Upheld the Texas court's decision. Sorry, Barry, people think you actually have to work with Congress to get something done. You can't just wave your pen without putting in the hard work with Congress.

As a Hispanic republican I echo what you are saying and I hope there is a big Hispanic turnout. For the first time ever I will be voting democrat. I have been encouraging the young to register to vote and also have been talking to other Hispanic republicans who are like me fed up with the party. Hopefully more Hispanics go out there to vote to lean this state closer to blue

Probably the right decision, so I'm happy for it -- even though I was also happy to see Obama do something material to change the landscape on immigration in the first place. It seems reasonable that the Administration have some latitude to set priorities on where to apply law enforcement resources, but probably overstepping to declare a de facto quasi-amnesty for some. Congress should have done something, and still should do something. Republicans probably won't budge until the presidential elections though, which is a shame. Maybe they could if their candidate saw an opportunity to pick up hispanic votes by leading a change from Congress before the election (Rand Paul, Cruz, or Rubio could anyway), but I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Not after Cruz basically backed up Trump's insane ideas of restarting Eisenhower's forced exodus programs. Yikes, that was disturbing.

Lol, probably the right decision? Because what?

Sounds like you've really thought this through Juan.

Thanks for Haughty dip**** lecture though. Real engaging as usual.

I'm surprised you didn't call him intolerant or a racist/bigot for having a different opinion than you. That's what the liberal cool kids do these days.
