MLB 10 The Show, on the other hand, should be great. I missed out on MLB 09 (came close to buying it used, but decided to just wait for MLB 10). Looking forward to playing it...whenever I get around to it anyway.
MLB 09 The Show was great and if you're into franchise mode stuff it's very deep (Rule V Draft, Free Agency, Arbitration, etc.). It doesn't seem like they've added anything groundbreaking from last year's game aside from the new stadiums, rosters etc. but I've reserved a copy. I usually sell the previous year's game in early January.
Napoleon: Total War should be arriving tomorrow. Should I conquer Europe as Napoleon, or try to kick his ass as part of the Coalition? I'll be ordering a Dell U2410 this weekend also, so I can't wait to see how my games will look on that. :grin:

Was March, but it ended up getting delayed. More or less TBA (though it was hinted that it might be out in the Fall). The developers are perfectionists, and I think they keep finding things they need to improve (in their opinion), so the date keeps getting pushed back.

I either lend someone the disc or it goes bad on me and I just don't want to buy another (yeah, I know it was "greatest hits" at one time)... I want to be able to finish 5. I also would like to send a kind letter to the developers and say: "Please, dear sirs... QUIT STALLING YOUR *SSES!!! RELEASE THE EMMEFFIN' GAME ALREADY!!! JEEEZ!!! Could find a source for that, but since we're going on his word either way, don't think it would matter. These guys have been wrong many times in the past.
Yeah, the only reason I'd consider MLB 2k10 would be to win that million dollars. :grin: But MLB 10 The Show is the way to go. As for Gran Turismo, last I heard, its still months away from being released. No source, just have read different press releases and opinions. Looks to be July or after. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me.

I reserved my copy yesterday and am really forward to this release. I just played the demo, and enjoyed it quite a bit. Apparently I'm going to need to pick up a dual shock controller though to fully utilize some of the new powers. DD, didn't you say something about doing work on the facial animations? This looks top notch, and I'm hearing a lot of praise about it being the best looking game ever.

Was a must-buy (it is Final Fantasy, and I've waited a long time), but I wanted to scale back on game buying with my current backlog. But then the FF hype started to get to me, and Amazon's preorder bonus seemed enticing. And now some of the "meh" reviews and impressions (by FF standards) are making me think again.
I was thinking about getting it, but I know I'll be waiting now. Have a bunch of games in my backlog that I want to play and no time. Probably wait til there is a good sale on it or at least til the summer. But I will pick it up and I am stoked to play it, despite what any reviews might say of it. Other than a very very few select games, the JRPGs this gen have been a big pile of suck.
Im getting FF13 but i know i'll just be disappointed, i wish they could get back to the FF7, 3, and 9 days, those were great games, ive been nothing but let down with everything after although 12 was enjoyable, i wish they would give FF fans what they want and remake 7 that would be the best day ever, its the single greatest story line of any game ever in my opinion and it should have the graphics to go along with it

Im going to hold off on FF for the time being...there are so many games I have meant to play that its almost ridiculous. With the reviews not being as I had hoped, its going to have to go to the back of the line and wait its turn.
