Luol Deng wants out of LA badly. Is considering non-guaranteeing part of his deal if he can be traded and/or bought out.

    Cleveland and Houston are possibilities.

Denver traded a 1st with Nurkic to get Plumlee...maybe we can get two 1st rounders if we take back both Faried and Mudiay while trading them Anderson...lol

Why would Deng agree to a buyout? He's getting paid 17 mil for the next 2.5 seasons. Besides, Deng is so bad this year that he has NEGATIVE win shares. He wouldn't crack the rotation in Houston.

I'm really surprised Charlotte hasn't done anything.

They obviously need to decide if they are buying or selling...

If they aren't trading Kemba then they obviously should be trying to improve their team around Kemba.

    Windhorst & Lowe
    • BW: There were people in the league who thought there was traction with Cavs/Clippers. It got to the point where they felt they were close that they could begin looking for 3rd teams. Cavs/Clippers got down the road with DeAndre. At a certain point, Cavs elected not to make a deal with the Clippers & instead the Lakers. Cavs also talked to the Hornets but I didn't see a path there.
    • BW: Didn't like them including a 1st in the Lakers deal. Lakers had no mechanism to get those 2 players off anywhere else.
    • ZL: If you talk to shooters(spot up guys), he's hard on guys who don't make shots. He'll stop passing you the ball. The tension, expectations, standards, it's a real thing. If you start slumping, it can deteriorate.
    • BW: There have been quite a few players who will say LeBron is unselfish on his terms.
    • BW: Last weekend vs. Houston, shoot-around, you can see Jae & Isaiah off by themselves & the rest of the team hanging out over here. It was high school lunch room again.
    • BW: They(Cavs) believe if they(Lakers) needed to clear space, they would have found a way. We weren't the only avenue for them to clear space.
    • ZL: Cavs asked about Dinwiddie. Would they take our pick for Dinwiddie? Nets asked a lot for Dinwidie.
    • (What did LeBron know about these trades in advance?) BW: They came to him before the game Tuesday in Orlando and said 'Hey, we have some traction on some things.' He knew they were getting close & again talked on Wednesday. He knew they were creating some action. From what I understand, they didn't say 'We're going to trade this guy, is that alright?' I think he was in the dark more than previous years but he didn't find out from Woj. He was aware of generally what was happening. He did bless the Wade deal.
    • BW: Tyreke Evans was holding up the Belinelli market. Philly was negotiating on both & didn't get either.
