Portland is loaded with talent. Wallace, an all-star last year is coming off the bench. So is Roy... I still can't believe that Morey didn't go harder after Wallace.
open when? the only late plays were a lebron drive where he got fouled, a lebron drive where he got fouled and they didn't call it (the more i see the replay, the more pissed i get that a weak defender like melo gets away with a hack and then gets credit for good D) and that last 3 where he pretty much had to take it. maybe fate will love the heat in the playoffs and a close bounce or shot will actually go their way and they'll steal a couple of close wins instead of always having them stolen, but i'm not holding my breath. the many heat haters will probably get to continue to revel in the close game misery of the heat. it's almost unbelievable the heat are even 43-17 with practically no close wins.
I have to see the replay I wasn't looking at Wade on the play so I'm not sure. I don't hate the Heat but as of late in close games against good teams they seem to struggle at the end. I thought they would be improving late in games as the season progressed
Yeah, against the not so good teams. btw, they are mostly at home for the next 10 games, but look at this schedule: vs Orl @SA vs Chi vs Por vs LAL vs Mem vs SA vs OKC @ ATL vs Den Let's see how they are for that stretch.
As I see it, today's game displayed the weakness of the Heat more than how good the Knicks are. When the Heat play a good defensive team in a 7-game playoff series that has game-planning involved, they will be in trouble. The more I think about it, the more I believe the Bulls might be the best team in the EC. Right now there are few things as beautiful as watching LeBron and Wade on a fast break. Problem is they won't get many of them after they blow out their 1st round opponent. I have a hard time seeing the Heat winning the championship this year with their current roster.
Yeah, they are loaded with talent. Aldridge Roy Wallace Matthews Batum Camby & Miller do their jobs. Fernandez is bonus when he performs.
There beating the teams they should, even when Celtics just lost to Toronto the other day, and the bulls lost to them not a while back. So I rather the heat lose to the top teams by a small margin, then phone home against the bad teams.
The Heat are 12-12 against the top 16 teams. Knicks have about the 16th-17th best record, so they may be included in that stat or they could be part of the 31-5 for the bottom 14.
Kobe: 2 rings in the last two years Jordan: 0 rings in the last two years? Coincidence? I think not. Kobe is the greatest player eva!
