Like the ones that second guess on when the FBI officially declares something a terrorist act, or claims that Paul Pelosi's attacker was part of a homosexual tryst?

As a moderate conservative, I would say....

Building bombs is illegal for a reason. It's dangerous to the bombmaker and others. I'm glad he was busted before anyone was hurt or killed by his bombs. I suspect many deaths were avoided by this bust.

Additionally, I don't support extremists who have so much hatred that they would gleefully build bombs or plan attacks (or support those who do) with the dreams of someday mass-killing those who they don't like or disagree with. This is true of any political affiliation, right or left.

Unless you're an extremist, we don't have to share political views in order to agree with the statement above.

The FBI doesn't really have a reason to radicalize a no name. I would understand the suspicion if it was a person with a large following. I would be willing to take a closer look at entrapment. But I just don't think they have a reason to invest years and extensive resources to radicalize someone who is a foot soldier.

The only exception would be if they used that person to gather information and evidence against a larger organization they perceived as a threat. That doesn't seem to be the case here. From the information available, it seems unlikely they would have a motivation or gain anything by radicalizing this person.

It's funny how the leftists have gone from being anti-establishment and anti-government to "the government is always right, no matter what".

I know you've backed off the post but in terms of the FBI setting up people for terrorism charges you have to keep in mind that 9-11 was a law enforcement failure and I'm sure was all kind of pressure to make up for it

I think you would be hard pressed to find the FBI doing it in other arrests
