for the record, not everyone who has been tortured is a "terrorist". i ask again, how would you like it if you were wrongly imprisoned and tortured? and i state again, anybody who knows anything about interrogation techniques will tell you that torture is not a reliable way to gather information.

lol I was terrible at it. For the record, I think Bush is an absolute tool (well intentioned, in his mind anyway). I think the war in Iraq was started on lies and delusions of a select few in power, and is a tragic mistake that we will continue to suffer the consequences of for quite some while no matter the outcome. I don't know what's happening at Gitmo, but if innocents are getting tortured there, that's just wrong and in no cases should urine ever be involved in anything. It's just plain disgusting and barbaric to treat another human being like that. I may disagree strongly with the Quran but I see no reason to dunk it in urine (if that did happen). I'm not a big fan of people who say one thing and condemn people for it while they lead the same life themself. However, everyone makes mistakes and if they're truly sorry about it and can move on, I'm not going to hold it against them. I think the thing that Haggard can do is to stay out of the spotlight and focus on finding out what kind of person he really is and what he wants from life. I know he has kids and a wife, so whatever happens, I can only hope and pray that it is a family decision and that they make the best of a bad situation. I hold a severe dislike for neocons who I think are really nothing more than wolves in sheep's clothing with their message of "freeing Iraq from an evil villain".
