This is hilarious. This guy has been on the lam for like forever. He was a Boston Crime Boss. No not Jack's character, a real boss. Anyway its hilarious because on Rachel Maddow's show Monday night she mentioned the FBI starting a new attempt to catch this guy. Apparently his girlfriend who helped him elude law enforcement spends a lot of times in beauty salons and having had plastic surgery. So the FBI started showing her picture around the beauty salon circuit and to plastic surgeons and their staffs. Apparantly this tactic took less than a week to catch this guy. Unbelievable

I thought the departed was a remake of an foreign moved called Infernal Affairs? Unless you are saying they based their character off this guy.

Michael: "My father is no different than any other powerful man -- any man who's responsible for other people, like a senator or president."

Kay: "You know how naive you sound...senators and presidents don't have men killed."

Michael: "Oh, who's being naive, Kay?"

Yes but the Frank Costello character (J Nicholson) was based on Whitey.
