    I simmed game 5's and 6's.

The Blazers won game 5 against the Jazz to advance to the WCF.

The Kings won in Seattle to steal homecourt in game 5, but the Sonics took game 6 in a thriller to retake homecourt.

The Hornets beat the Bateaux Ivre in game 5, but Vince Carter was injured in the game with a stiff neck, and missed game 6, which the Bateaux Ivre won. Vince will be back just in time for game 7. However, the Bateaux Ivre will be missing Dion Glover now who is out 4 days with a fractured nose.

The Magic won games 5 and 6 against the Cavs to close out the series and advance to the ECF.

Will update today's stuff tomorrow in the afternoon.

    Results from sim.

Sonics won game 3, but Blazers took 4 and 5.

Blazers win series 4-1, advance to finals.

Magic won games 3 and 4 and home, and then took game 5 in Paris. Bateaux Ivre took game 6 in Orlando. Now back to Paris for game 7.

    Series tied 3-3.

Will sim game 7 of the Eastern finals, and the first 2 games of the finals at a later date, which I will announce at a later time.

Well, when I got home right around 10 and got on the bbs, I know I saw Rimmy and CK on the bbs, and heard Smeg was in chat, so everyone was around, except for myself :(. While I was here, my computer was acting up like crazy, and I could not get on chat.

So I would hate to just sim now when the others were online when I was supposed to, so I will make it tomorrow for sure, following the 2 NBA Playoff games (so at the end of the Lakers/Kings game).

Sorry for any inconvenience caused tonight.

Don't worry about me being around...I probably won't. My access is erratic for two more weeks.

Besides, I know CK will lose.

    Simmed and...

In game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Bateaux Ivre came out with their game faces on, and immediately exploded to a 26-13 first quarter lead, extended to 56-40 at the half. A monster third put the game out of reach, as they pushed the lead to 29, making the score 85-56. The Magic won the 4th quarter badly, 24-9, but even that was only able to cut the lead to 14. Final score was 94-80.

With the Bateaux Ivre advancing, that makes the finals between the two teams not located in North America, and a lot of travelling will be going on in this finals, as the venues will vary from Paris to Australia.

    FBB Finals:

    Game 1 @ Paris -

An exciting start to what looks to be a high scoring series. Shots were dropping all over in a 40-34 1st quarter, with the Bateaux Ivre scoring 40.

The teams stayed hot in the 2nd period. They traded buckets for most of the quarter, with the Blazers winning the quarter 30-29, making the halftime score: Bateaux Ivre 69 - Blazers 64.

The 3rd quarter opened up the game. The Bateaux Ivre were able to keep up their whopping scoring pace, but the Blazers cooled off a little. After 3, despite having an excellent 84 points, the Blazers trailed by 24 points. An amazing 108 points after 3 for the Bateaux Ivre.

They have to cool off now, right? Nope. The Bateaux Ivre continued their offensive attack, scoring 33 in the final period of play, while holding the Blazers to 12.

    Final Score:

    Bateaux Ivre 141 - Blazers 96

A very rare feat was accomplished with the Bateaux Ivre having 5 guys score 20+ in the game.

Michael Dickerson - 29 points on 13/17 fg
    Yao Ming - 26 points, 9 rebs
Jason Terry - POG with 24 points, 16 asts
    Shareef Abdur-Rahim - 23 points, 10 rebs, 7 asts
    Theo Ratliff - 20 pts, 13 rebs

No single player stood out for the Blazers in this game, with a pretty balanced offense. Marc Jackson ended up leading all with 15 points, with nearly everyone on the deep squad adding in between 6 and 15 points.

    Game 2 @ Paris -

Game 2 started off with a 26-25 1st quarter, with the Bateaux Ivre having the 1 point advantage.

The Blazers came out firing in the 2nd quarter, starting it off 10-0 and winning the quarter 32-18. At the half the score: 57-44 Blazers

The 3rd was a complete trading of baskets. 4-4..10-10..20-20..27-27 the final, making the score 84 to 71 Blazers going into the 4th.

The Bateaux Ivre were able to cut the deficit to as low as 4 in the 4th, but the Blazers kept their cool, winning the game 108-98.

POG was Rasheed Wallace, who scored 21 and pulled down 14 boards in the victory.

    Series tied at 1-1.

Will update site sometime tomorrow in the morning.

I hope to do the rest of the finals sometime tomorrow after the Lakers/Kings game..probably sometime a little late so Smeg will be awake by then, and not too late so that Rimmy doesn't have to stay up all night. How does around 10 or 11 CST sound?
