Are you guys also factoring in the fact that Minnesota has hands down the best offensive line in the NFL? Or did you not know that/not care just because you hate Favre and didn't use this information to approach this topic in a logical fashion? Let's see..... Favre has 291 CONSECUTIVE STARTS. To me, and to most people that is a greater accomplishment than Cal Ripken's consecutive game streak. Favre also will be playing behind the league's strongest offensive line with a run heavy offense. That factors in as well. He probably won't be sacked much, if at all. So starting a thread about when Favre will get hurt and people polling on it, does not compute with the above data I just gave you. From Wikipedia: Since first being named the starter of the Green Bay Packers before playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 27, 1992, Brett Favre has never missed a game.[99] He is currently in first place for the most consecutive starts by a quarterback in the NFL and one of only five quarterbacks to have started over 100 consecutive games in NFL history.
anyone else think favre is just coming back to claim the consecutive games played streak record......
