Espn said that there is a deal in place, but that Favre needs to talk to the Bucs first.

Sports Center just said that the deal should be finalized in the next 24 hours...

I want this bull**** to be done so I can watch sportscenter without seeing Brett every 2 seconds..

Why? You miss the nonstop Yankees and Red Sox coverage?

I wonder what the Bucs will be giving up for him.

Jesus, this means we'll have to watch a million Tampa games. Ugh. My question is, who starts on Madden's all fellatio team, Tony Romo, or Favre?

Chris Simms was doing pretty well for the Bucs until his lacerated spleen.

Then after Garcia did a decent job.

Is Simms fully healed yet? It shows him at 4th on the depth chart, wtf!

His vagina still needs a couple more years of healing before he can start holding clipboards again according to Gruden.

I'm sure he'll regain his Brad Johnson / Trent Dilfer like form though and eventually become Super Bowl MVP like The Cat so desperately dreams of every night.

If not I'm sure he'll do well modeling underwear.

I never thought chris lacked toughness, he just seemed to never progress.

What makes you think we won't see video from practice, video from games, interviews with teammates, etc.?

Hell, even the Texans play Tampa in preseason. I bet those tickets are going to go for a ton of money now.

I'm pretty sure Chucky would like to send him on a 7 step drop with a blind left tackle and Lawrence Taylor blitzing the way their relationship stands.

I think Chrissy has some of that inherited mental toughness and obviously had talent, I just think he was always too much a pretty boy and he'll never live it down.

The system Gruden sets up makes it pretty easy for any QB with half an arm to run, so I'm not sure why they want Favre so bad.

So I heard that the Jets have a better offer than the Bucs.......anyone else hear that somewhere too? They could also use a stronger armed quarterback like Favre. Pennington cannot hail-mary a ball for his life.

No way, if anything, I think he'll struggle to make the right reads in a west coast offense. This is the wrong place for him.

^^ scratch my post, I forgot Holmgren was a west coast offense guy, but I still don't think he'll succeed because he doesn't have very good receivers at TB.

Classy, call out a guy for rupturing his spleen and possibly risking his life on the field. What a bum.
