Everyone is sick of it, but sadly, this is what usually happens during this hiatus during the summer. The slightest hint of drama can be churned into a week's (or more) long worth of discussion. I blame ESPN and the media for turning this into a worse matter than it actually deserves to be, although granted Favre is a unique situation.

I can't wait till football and then basketball starts again.......

It's terrible man. I don't even hate the Pack, I'm just tired of Favre and breaking news if he sneezes, scratches his balls or takes a ****.

    NO MAS!!!

And everyone associated with EA Sports just had a heart attack.

1 week prior to Madden coming out, their cover boy wears a different uni.

If this goes down expect Sunday, Sept 28th's Green Bay @ Tampa Bay game to set viewing records.

Of course, the better story would be him going to Minnesota. Opening week on MNF Vikings @ Green Bay. That would probably draw higher ratings than some Super Bowl's. Easily a MNF record.

As a fan of the Buccaneers, I don't want Brett being traded there. He was a Packer for practically all of his career. He IS a Packer. No matter what Tampa gives up to get him, it will be too high a price to pay since they need more than a QB to get to where they want to go.

If he goes to your team, I don't think it will end well. In fact, I hope it doesn't for Favre. I want to be there the first time Chucky (Gruden) rips into Favre. I promise it will happen.

Yeah, that would be a sight.

I had all the respect for Favre and what he did when he announced his retirement after last season. I watched him practically his whole career, really enjoying some of the classic Favre/Sapp matchups when GB played TB. He really is tarnishing his legend and legacy(ending up number 2 on the career passing charts behind Peyton Manning - barring an injury to #18 - is nothing to sneeze at)

    What are those?

U of Georgia and Florida State? :p

    FALLO EPICO!!!!!!!

    You're close. :p

Tampa Bay is in FLORIDA... so you're on the right track.

Florida is a state in the UNITED STATES.

I know you're from Mexico and its hard to comprehend, but here we play football with a ball that isn't round and with jerseys that AREN'T billboards.

Very misleading thread. I think you're friend is hoping this happens so he decided to send a mass text to seem like he's breaking this. I highly doubt this will happen.

Yup, he heard about Chris Mortenson reporting that Favre said he'll talk to Tampa Bay, but he hasn't had a chance yet. Your buddy is a gun jumper.

I myself am looking forward to starting Quarterback AARON RODGERS!

Since I've been in MN I've been rooting for the Vikings at the Packers / Vikings games but this year I'm a cheesehead!
