Wha wha what!? Dude, how can you not love Chrono Cross? It's on par with FF7 in my book. In fact, it may be my favorite RPG of all time.
Well, I'm firing off two series that haven't been mentioned yet. First: Touhou Project. Sakuya's Theme (Lunar Dial) Alice's Theme Suika's Theme My personal favorite is.. Flandre Scarlet's Theme (UN Owen was her)? Second series is called Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (translated to When the Seagulls cry). Not exactly a game, but really good music. Happiness of Marionette (One of the main villain's theme) Endless Nine (sort of the Final Boss theme) Prison (First confrontation with the villain)
I'll put in my vote for Halo. Man, there are times that music just gave me goosebumps. I'll throw out there something else I'm sure many have forgotten about. The music for Uncharted 2 is incredible, as epic as any John Williams score. And along those same lines, pretty much all of the Blizzard music is great, but the soundtrack to Warcraft III is good enough to just put in the CD and let someone listen to it, ask them what they think, they will never ever guess it is from a video game. Special kudos to the music for the Diablo 2 expansion music as well.

They did the soundtrack for HD Remix and it's available for free. If you like that, I'd also recommend their Blood on the Asphalt (Street Fighter II inspired) soundtrack. Some of the songs from the HD remix soundtrack are remixed versions of songs from Blood on the Asphalt. Very good stuff.

I hate host of VGL. Dude loves the spotlight, and while the Halo music is nice and all, his guitar is turned up WAY too loud and you can't hear anything else. Been there twice, and both times the show was ruined by his guitar.
