Fatty, you got good taste: My rankings: 1. Lamb 2. Elk 3. Quality Fish (salmon, halibut, coho) 4. Beef 5. Buffalo 6. Chicken 7. Venicen 8. Pork 9. Seafood (shrimp, mussells, and all that) 10. Bear
I voted for quality fish, but I meant shellfish. Actually, both are right up there. Hey, I'm a Newfoundlander -- what do you expect?
Nothing beats a perfectly (barely) cooked steak in my opinion. ...Unless you accompany it with shrimp: the best combo ever. Lamb is nice and delicate. I like using boneless cuts for some meals and then take the bones and make stocks. Chicken is boring but allows you to experiment with flavours and spices. Octopus, Stingray and Fruit Bat -- all very good in curries. Raw tuna, fresh off the boat. I don't eat pork that often, but when I do it has to be lean and thin...big hunks of pork I find repulsive.
Pork! Bacon makes everything better... shrimp wrapped in bacon, steak wrapped in bacon... I bet I could wrap my shoe in bacon and it'd be quite tasty...
you can't go wrong with this option, ill take a good steak any day... with a piece of bacon wrapped around it! and who can resist honey ham? did you actually say that?
Allright, so there are MANY MANY MANY Bin Ladens here who go for the CAMEL and the GOAT thing. But like RoxFan73--whom, I may add, got the answer correctly about "[sigh] I miss JACK." quote--said, it IS all about the Cabrito. I think that's the only reason I go back to MEXICO sometimes. So where can I taste that succulent soft meat here, 32-year-old RoxFan?
Ill have to check that longhorn stuff out. I've never noticed a difference in taste. Of course, my years of smoking has probably killed half my taste buds.
Beats the hell outta me. The only time I ever get to eat it is in Matamoros. I would think there would be a taqueria of two that would have it on their menu, but I have not come across one yet.
Favorite meats lets see: 1. mock duck 2. mock goose 3. soy ham 4. garden burger 5. tofu dogs 6. soy scrapple with wild rice 7. soy brats 8. mock lobster 9. rock lobster 10. tofurkey
That's some good stuff From my experiences, Pakistani food is very rich and spicy. I especially like eating biryani.
A tad, but in a good way. By far and away the best meat I've ever eaten. Tere's a reason it goes for $10 a pound.
