OK, so the only one I like AND KNOW is "I would do ANYTHING FOR LOVE".

Maybe I should have posted that in Isabel's Relationship thread.

Yeah, turkey and venison being left out was definitely my fault. But which ones should I have replaced? Only 10 choices allowed.

I chose chicken, just because thats what I usually eat. I absolutely hate fried chicken though and will never eat it, which is strange I guess. I like any kind of meat though. I don't see the big fascination with shrimp though. I mean I think it's ok and I'll eat it, but my wife and friends don't understand how I can like chicken and beef more than shrimp.

My in-laws live up in Nebraska on a farm and we always come home with heaps of ground buffalo meat and buffalo jerky when we visit.

Geez! If you're going to quote a Meatloaf song, at least have the correct album.

Yeah, Gyros are lamb. I really enjoy lamb.

I would say my favorite meats are both chicken wings (preferably barbecued), and beef kabob. I do not eat pork, however.

He still runs the place. They told me there was a floyds that opened off 1960 and they changed the name to avoid confusion. The waitress told me Floyd would be in later that day.

Any kind of meat is good meat pretty much. Speaking of which, I am craving some BBQ Ribs or a nice thick top sirloin with a juicy pink center.

As a side question, since most ya'll are from Texas how I was wondering how to make a good burger. I mean when you marinate it what do you marinate it with? And when you grill do you do anything special (charcoal?wood chips? lava rocks)? What I mean is I want that special "restaurant" taste you get from some good burgers.... its got that not charcoally but some other distinct taste I can't really describe. Help please!

In hamburger helper, spaghetti, and lasagna, I can understand - most of the stuff you put into those dishes just about mask the flavor of the meat. I don't know how you can't taste the difference in a burger, but ok. As for less greasy and fatty, longhorn ground beef has less fat and is lower in cholesterol than turkey or chicken from what I recall. It's the only ground beef I buy, but at $4.99/lbs, it ain't cheap. I usually wait until it's $2.99/lbs to buy it.

Mix some steak seasoning and a few cloves of fresh minced garlic.

That's it. I'm having hamburgers tonight.

    Thanks Fatty

    He means steak seasoning.

Next piece of advice is to grill outside using low heat. Ie. Wait until the flames are out of the charcoal and they are white-hot. Then lay the burgers on the grill.

I went out the other night and had a tenderloin that was about as good as meat can get IMHO.

Melt in your mouth delicious.
