    not too fast cowboy..

maybe we're talking about two different things

This is the fajitas I'm talking about:

Is that the same fajitas you're talking about?

if you don't agree that what was described above ARE fajitas OR if you don't have any proof that what I just described ARE NOT fajitas then you're just wasting everyone's time

I remember when I worked at The Olive Garden in the early 70's with Paul Prego and Ron Ragu. Those pioneering chefs were the first to combine tomatoes and italian herbs in a simmering pot and serve over long skinny noodles. They called it "spaghetti". You can read all about it on wikipedia.

are you asking us to find the an article which says exactly the word "Fajita" orginated in mexico? can't an article describing the dish fajita and saying it has been tradition in mexico suffice?

and also for the record you moving the goal post now..

earlier in this thread you were so sure the grilled skirt steak was invented in Texas.. then now you want to see the word "Fajita" when you know only Americans call this mexican dish with that name..

    Game. Set. Match. Dummy!

No... What I have been saying, to an entirely r****ded audience, is that fajitas were created in Texas.

To all the people who think I am wrong... Read what you are talking about. Backing VeBlarghio is certainly not someone I would put my money on.

But, hey! Appararently I don't know food...

vluarelio - its people like you that caused me to abandon this website a long time ago.

If not for Bonzi I think I would have not read your stupidity.

fajitas are from texas and I am almost sad to see you get owned over and over by facts.

why dont you admit that you are wrong? People on this bbs can never admit they are wrong.

have you tried to order fajitas in mexico? well I have and the do not freaking have them so how can they be invented in mexico?

why dont you go argue with someone about who was the first person to re fry beans..

My question is why would someone re fry beans and why is it that some people just cant help making themselves from looking like a total jacka$$??

you managed to do that in one single thread and oh yeah Buck you were wrong too.

bet you wont admit it.. I mean I noticed you didnt..

OK, just for fun and since Fatty is getting so worked up, from Wikipedia (which ironically started this whole thing):

This, by the way, is the same entry for answers.com, reference.com, algebra.com

fatty, I don't know if you've been purposely ignoring this question

for the nth time, are these fajitas?

you don't have to explain, a simple yes or no will do
