The commercials were pretty pathetic this year. THEY SUCKED actually.

The only one that was really good was the Levis jeans with the dancing dude.

The Danny munchkin one was pretty cool as well.

Like some of the rest of you all, I really liked the miniature Lipton people, and thought Al Roker getting pegged over and over was hilarious.

The Bud Light commercial with the tall guy getting advice from his friend next to him, then ending up getting kicked down for it, was pretty funny as well.

The premise of the Pepsi commercials was good, but I didn't like the commercials themselves. But, you can tell that Coke has some catching up to do in marketing.

Didn't get to see anything at halftime or after because I was on the road the rest of the time, but apparently I didn't miss that much.

NOT that I disagree with you about Spears, although there are times when she works for me, but I would say that you're splitting an extremely fine hair in your second line...

FOr example, I can say that it's not that I don't like Jordan, it's just that he's WAY overrated, as a scorer, defender, and leader, and this has to do with ref protection, the Stern hype machine, and being able to take a kazillion shots a year...Oh, wait, I hate the guy...

No one has mentioned this one yet: The Bud commercial where the girl spends a long, long time picking out a perfect card to give to her boyfriend. Cut to the boyfriend at the convenience store, buying a six-pack and seeing a rack with like 3 cards on it, and he grabs one. I was laughing my ass off because I've done just that thing. Then we see the girl reading the card and saying "oh, it's perfect!" as he breaths a sigh of relief.

Did anybody get a running time on that first Pepsi commercial? That badboy had to run about 5 or 5.5 million...

I do agree with you there. But I really don't hate her.

And as far as arguing about her looks or anything, I guess it's just a matter of opinion. If you want to get down to it scientifically, she is not pretty. The science of beauty says that the most beautiful people have symmetrical features and a ratio of 1:1.6 (approx). Her face is not symmetrical and her ratios (by looking, I have no real proof of this) seem wrong. But she does have a young face (full lips, doe eyes) which is aesthetically pleasing.

I still think that if any somewhat pretty girl could seek fame like she did and after make-up artists, hair stylists, wardrobe people, marketing, and airbrushing, she could be every bit as glamourous and beautiful. Yes, Spears is a beautiful person, but she's not perfect (as most people seem to think).

I liked the one of the staff meeting where they are looking for way to save money. the one guys suggests registering for some postal program and there is silence. Then the boss repeats what he just said. they then argue over which hand signal he made, because it made all the diffrence. . . . Sad but true.

The comercials were aweful this year. The only good ones I can remember are the lady's man one, the monkey one, and the how you doing. That's about it. The Britney Spears commercial was aweful. It was very annoying too. They made a big deal about her new commercial and it was just pathetic.

I just got back from Metro. The movie started late. There's so many Maggie's Dodge ads you can show before the crowd starts getting restless. So finally the previews start, lights dim, everyone hushes up, and a voice says "Clairol's Herbal Essences shampoo congratulates Britney Spears on her major motion..."

The silence was quickly interrupted by a chuckle. Soon the whole theater busted out in laughter - the domino effect. Someone might have yelled Britney sucks in the commotion. It got pretty loud.

I can only imagine how its going to be like during Crossroads :D

I think she tells the other girls to stop their b****ing....oh its gonna be wild I tell ya absolutely wild.
