    Here's one:

Officer Lou:You know I went to the McDonalds In Shelbyville on Friday night..

    Chief Wiggum:The McWhat?

Officer Lou:McDonalds restaurant...I...I never heard of it either...they have over 2,000 locations in this state alone.

Officer ??:Must've sprung up over night...

Lou:You know the funniest things though? It's the little differences...

    Wiggum:Example.

Lou:Well at McDonald's you can buy a Krusty Burger with cheese right, but they don't call it a Krusty Burger with cheese.

Wiggum:Get out. Well what do they call it?

    Lou:Quarter Pounder with cheese...

Wiggum:Quarter Pounder with cheese? Well, I can picture the cheese but uh, do they have Krusty Partially Gelatinated Non-Dairy Gum Based beverages?

Lou:Uhm hum. They call em' "Shakes."

Officer ??:Ha. "Shakes" don't know what your getting...

Wiggum:Well I know what I'm getting. Some Donuts. Help me outta the booth boys.

Classic. Has the new season of Simpsons started yet and if it has what time does it come on?

Here's some more great Ralph Wiggums quotes:

"The Doctor said I wouldn't have so many nosebleeds if I just kept my finger outta there."

To Lisa:"I heard your dad went into a restaurant and ate everything in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant."

After winning Science fair for collection of Authentic Star Wars figures: "I beat the smart kids, I beat the smart ki...(trips)"

    (At Fallout Boy tryouts)

Lunch Lady: At last the world is safe, eh fall out boy?

Ralph: What are we having for lunch tommorow?

    Director:Next.

    Ralph:Chicken necks?

(After recieving card from Lisa on Valentine's Day)

"Heh heh, It says "choo-choo-chooooose" me"

    (In Class)

"My parents won't let me use scissors"

    Class: Laughs

Teacher: The children are right to laugh at you Ralph.

    (Another In Class Moment)

"can you open my milk mommy?"

    Ms.Hoover: I'm not Mommy Ralph, I'm Ms.Hoover.

    ----------

    Ah, the memories. [IMG]

homer and bart want to go to the monster truck rally... but it is lisa's orchestra recital.... ok so the orchestra starts playing and flanders is also in the audience... flanders kid starts to play his solo... midway through flanders starts shedding tears cuz he is so happy and homer goes

"cheer up flanders he's not that bad"

My favorite Ralph Wiggum line (outside of the one I already listed):

Ralph: Ms. Hoover, the worm fell in my mouth and I ate it. Can I have another?
Ms. Hoover: No, Ralph. Just put your head on your desk and go to sleep.
Ralph: Oh, sleep! That's where I'm a viking.

    Ok, one more:

After Sideshow Bob's brother, Cecil, blows up the dam and the water runs through town, Homer stands outside and sees Ralph float by and stop right in front of the Simpson house still in his bed. He says:

"I think I wet my bed."

    Awesome!

The Regular Simpsons episodes for this season start on Sunday at 7pm Central Time. The new Halloween episode was on this past Wednesday.

Futurama also premieres Sunday (but at 6pm Central)

(Someone asked, so I am telling them).

anyone else think Futurama is highly underrated? it has a lot of clever subtle humor. Matt Groening basically has focused all his attention on this show, virtually abandoning The Simpsons creatively.

I do agree Outlaw, that Futurama is not given its proper credit. It is not as consistenly funny as Simpsons, but it has some very hard laughs. I am also partial to Family Guy.

My favorite Ralph line would have to be:

Raplh: I like bushes because they are soft and don't have thorns...unless they do...this one did.

Classic. I understand that it is really impossible to give ONE favorite line, but I just like hearing a gaggle of Simpsons fans spout out hilarious lines. I have seen each episode so many times, just hearing one line from a episode causes me to run through the whole thing in my mind and recite all the hilarious quotes to myself. Sometimes I laugh out loud, and no other show has ever been able to have that effect on me. It is, quite simply, the funniest show ever made.

I think Futurama and Family Guy are both underrated. I want them to bring back Family Guy to Sundays so I can watch all at once. IMO, I'd rather have Family Guy over King oF The Hill anyday. I think Matt Groening needs to get back to focusing on the Simpsons because obviously it is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, comedy of all time. Futurama is still in it's infant stages and can grow later. BTW, who else wants to see Groening start drawing the Simpsons as the grow up? I'd like to see how Bart would do in High School. Just occasional episodes though because some of the characters wouldn't work if they got older.

I love Futurama. I find it pretty consistently funny. THe biggest problem I have with FOX right now is that Futurama is often preempted for the ends of football games. I fear that I won't get to see many episodes because the freakin' Cowboys games run til 6:30pm.

And in the spirit of the thread, I will offer one of my favorite Futurama lines:

Leela: Okay if everyone is finished being stupid...

Fry: I had more, but you go ahead.

    Or:

Professor Farnsworth (seeing that the crew is in terrible peril): Oh my, I really should do something, but I am already in my pajamas.

I like Family Guy, too, but not as much as the Simpsons or Futurama.

Of course, I like King of the Hill, too.

Here is a trivia question that I have come up with that I bet will stump everyone in here.

Which episode is the ONLY episode when the actual likeness (his real face and body) of Harry Shearer (guy who does Moe, Burns, Smithers, Brockman, McBane, etc voices) animated in the Simpsons? Truthfully, this is somewhat more of a Harry Shearer trivia question than a Simpsos.

That would be season three's "The Otto Show" in which Shearer appeared as his Spinal Tap alter ego Derek Smalls.
