How could no one have mentioned the episode where Bart and Lisa play hockey. There are so many hilarious moments from that I can't remember them all. I love how Homer keeps putting Bart and Lisa against each other: Marge: after lisa and bart fight she says "y'all are not in direct competition" so homer runs in and says "their teams are playing this weekend, they're in direct competition." Later, Homer comes up with "two kids fighting for their parents love" "the winner will be showered with praise, the loser will be booed mercilessly until my throat is sore" "what has maggy ever done for anyone" - of course maggy then jumps up and catches a ketchup bottle before it hits homer homer to a pie marge told him not to eat "i'm just going to do like this (bites at the air) and if you get in the way then that's not my fault" he then bangs his head on the cabinet and just says "what the hell" and eats the pie the best i think though is when wiggum wants to let all the prisoners out to see the game Wiggum: "Now if I let you out will you promise to come back after the game" Snake: "no" Wiggum: "Well will you at least promise to not commit any more crimes" Snake: "uhh no" Wiggum: "I'll take that as a yes" and lets em out most of those quotes were just paraphrases and didn't capture the true greatness of the moments but that whole show is just f*cking hilarious Also the halloween episode (i think) where homer gets the hair transplant from snake after snake is executed and he kills apu and wiggum is talking to reporters afterwards Wiggum: "The victim did not die violently" Lou after looking at apu stuffed in the slurpy machine "Uh looks like he died pretty violently to me chief" Wiggum, drinking a slurpy, now sees apu: "Aww geez Lou how long were you gonna let me keep drinking this" Wiggum then proceeds to finish off the slurpy. Classic kinda like that futurama episode with Slurm that frye gets addicted to where he drinks it, finds out where it comes from, spits it out, immediately takes another drink, they yell "frye", he spits it out, and then is about to take another drink before the scene ends.
Tough call, but I would have to say the Cat Burglar episode. Marge: "Homer, did you stay up all night eating 64 slices of American cheese? Homer: "I think I'm blind!" Wiggum: "Well, it looks like there is no treasure...hey, how do we get out of here?" Homer: "We'll DIG our way out!" (Digs a while) Wiggum: "No no, dig UP, stupid."
What about when Willy asks to be Greased up!!!!! is something like "grease me up I'm going in" it's in the episode where Bart takes SLH to school for show and tell and gets into the airconditioning ducts, then Willy falls on superintendent Chalmers and Skinner gets the sack and Flander becomes Principle - another Classic episode.
I also love this quote, this quote in combination with the 64 slices of cheese I think I'm blind quote, show the complete Genius of Homer
Cletus: "I love you Pa!" Homer: "I love you Cletus!" Dude, how could you leave out the best quote from that episode? Homer : "Saxamaphone........." blows on Lisa's saxaphone when him and Marge are thinking about how much they miss the kids. I liked when Maggie was in the front seat of the car on the way to the river to be baptised and she spins her head around and says Okaley-Dokaley. And then little Maggie is gonna choose the Flanders and then she sees Marge and chooses the Simpsons. I also like the ending when Homer saves Bart from being baptised. Then Homer speaks in biblic tongue. "Old Painty Can Ned!"
Favorite Halloween Episode: "The Shinning" No tv and no beer make Homer something something... [/B][/QUOTE] Marge : "Go Crazy?" Homer : "Don't mind if I do!!!" Proceeds to go nuts with an axe. Great Episode.
That is the one where the devil gives him the donut. Then he eats it and the devil tries to suck him into hell and he gets stuck. That is great when Homer is forced to eat a billion donuts in hell and he keeps saying "More, More" Then Marge saves his soul by saying that he already signed it over to her on the back of a picture. Then the Devil frees him but makes his head a doughnut. Another great halloween episode. I also like the episode where Homer timetravels with the toaster. Homer: "Where are the doughnuts?" Time Warp Marge "What are Doughnuts?" Homer: " Ahhh!" Then he warps out. Then it starts to rain doughnuts. Time Warp Marge: "It's raining again" The "Poltergeist" Halloween episode where Homer ruins the multi dimensional world because he throws the "coney" object and creates a black hole that sucks him into 3-D Earth and he goes into the Adult Cake Shop.
Some of my Favorite Episodes... Definitely not all of them - Homer vs. New York Homer : "What is a Kokalash?" - When Bart gets Santa's Little Helper a credit card and charges it up. - Great episode about Carney Folk. When the Carney folk take over the Simpsons house as squatters. Features Jim Varney as the voice of the head Squatter. I think that the voice of the Carney's son is the same as the kid from Shelbyville in the "Lemon Tree" episode when Shelbyville steals the Lemon Tree from Springfield. And Homer and company take Ned's RV and steal it back from the Tow Yard. - The Chili Cook Off Episode when Homer eats the Hot Peppers in Chief Wiggum's chili and goes on a hallucinatory trip. Dog on top of Pyramid: " Homer find your soulmate." - The Tamaco episode where Homer mixes Tobacco and Tomatoes together via Plutonium. - The "Legend of Jebadiah Springfield" is great also. With a voice over by Donald Sutherland as the town curator. - I also liked the episode where Mr Burns sells the factory to some Germans. Then Homer dreams of the chocolate land where he chases the dog with the Puffy tale. Last but not least - When Homer goes on a eating binge to weigh 300lbs. and work at home. Then he lets the bird work for him and almost causes a plant meltdown. I always enjoy how Bart and Homer team up in schemes. Especially the Grease scheme where they get forced out by mobsters. Oh and the "Pinchy" episode where Homer has the pet lobster and he accidentally boils him. Then he eats him while he is crying.
Some great Comic Book Guy quotes: [3F16] The Day The Violence Died At the Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop (After a screening of Itchy and Scratchy meet Fritz the Cat) Bart: How come I've never seen that Itchy and Scratchy before? CBG: Perhaps because you are a pre-pubescent ignoramus. This is a bootleg copy of Itchy and Scratchy meet Fritz the Cat. Because of it's frank depiction of sex and narcotic consumption, it is not for infantile intellect, such as yours, now toodle-oo. Bart: Aww. (Bart and Lisa turn to leave. Bart sees a framed drawing of Itchy) Bart: Cool! I'll give you ten bucks for that. CBG: Are you the creator of Hi and Lois because you are making me laugh. That drawing is worth exactly 750 dollars American. Bart: It's valuable, huh?! CBG: Ooh, your powers of deduction are exceptional. I can't allow you to waste them here when there are so many crimes going unsolved at this very moment. Go, go, for the good of the city. Bart: Loser. [4F12] The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show After the first episode of Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie CBG: Last night's Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured I was on the internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world. Bart: Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain? CBG: As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me. Bart: What? They're giving you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe you? I mean, if anything, you owe them. CBG: Worst episode ever.
One of the funniest scenes is when Homer finds out that its the Chili cook off for the weekend and complains to Marge sayin "BUT MARGE, its the Chilli cookoff" with him jumping up and down with his hands moving left to right like he was a little boy. Another memorable was in the "Simpson Gene" episode when Bart and Homer were watching "When Buliding Collapse" and Homer was sayin "I didnt think it was going to fall over!" after they were cheering after each building fell into the ground. My favorite episode had to be "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson". I will never forget when Homer wanted something to drink and the vendor said "All we have is Crab Juice and Moutain Dew" and Homer responded "Ewwww Yuck, Ill take the Crab Juice". Then afterwards, he had to go to both of, ironically, the World Trade Centers to use the restroom.
The best part about that episode is the ending where the Simpson women are all watching the Simpson men act like dumbasses. That's one of the best simpson endings, that and when Homer gets the Denver Broncos instead of the Dallas Cowboys. "Marge, you just wouldn't understand." The times have changed, haven't they?
Another great Comic Book Guy line from last season's Prank Monkey episode: After eating a marshmellow chick, "Oh, if only the real chicks went down this easy."
