    Man. Count von Count was my 10th, but I bumped him to put "Other." It's weird to have the letter of the day character and not the number of the day character, but I couldn't justify knocking anyone else off -- well, maybe Baby Bear, but he seems to feature too prominently nowadays. As for Snuffy the Elephant, he's so damned annoying, I didn't think anyone would miss him if I didn't put him in the list. I guess I was wrong on that one. I also had to leave off my second favorite character(s), the Two-Headed Monster.

    i actually voted for ernie for his laugh, ability to piss of bert, the rubber ducky song, and some book i read in elementary school that had him in it.

    but now i kinda wish i voted for cookie monster. that boy would whoop a cookie 7 ways from sunday. watching cookie monster completely eat/tear up whatever object he was dealing with in the skit was kind of like watching hulk hogan "hulk up" at the end of a match and win. you knew it was coming but it was always exciting and entertaining (and told you all was right with the world).


    count or kermit would probably be my 3rd favorite character.

    God! No Kermie either!!! what's up with dat?? Kermit was like Regis before Regis (Muppet Show & Sesame Sreet). Except he wasn't as loud and egotistical.
    I liked Oscar,but Cookie Monster didn't care about anything except COOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!! He tought me how to eat.

    i'm going Count. so i voted other.

    we have a sesame street video that my older son watched all the time...now my younger son watches it. and the Count has a sweet little musical number that i sorta have memorized.

    My favorite character, even though he wasn't a muppet, was The Chef at the end of all the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 bits they did.

    I kid you not, I still yell "10 Coconut cream-filled pies!" whenever I see someone fall down stairs. But then, I'm mean.

    Am I the only one that never knew what gender Big Bird was? I still have no idea whether it's a boy or a girl. I say girl, although some people I know say guy.
