Yao has to be tops for the class he plays the game with. But I will say that Scola is a close second. The guy gives 100% every night and has yet to miss a game since joining the team Lowry seems to be in the same mold as these two and looks to have a great career in Houston in the coming years.
Its hard for anyone other then Yao to match Scola. I mean that on the court hustle and seemingly usual jovial nature make an easy player to get behind.
I see the Heart of a Champion deep down in Von Wafers soul. He plays with a chip on his shoulder.I'm going to be one of the first to publicly jump on the band wagon before everyone else.
i voted for yao but really, i like everyone now after rafer left and tmac injured artest getting on my nerves a little at times because i think he is playing for his contract but still gotta like what he brings on the defensive end.
I picked Artest...as much as i like the rest of the guys on the team, I think Artest brings a different attitude to the entire team. A toughness that hasn't been there for years even when mcgrady was healthy. And it looks like some of the younger players are following his lead and not backing down or shying away from their opponents when things gets tough out there on the court.
Me is Lowry, Scola is fine too, but please remove Artest from the list, this guy is just crazy, he can single-handely kill the team at any time, this is not joking, but true.
Take Yao out of this team and its a lottery team. Take any other or two and its still a playoff team.
