Too many good restaurants in Houston, so I can't pick just one. I will try to sort them out by cuisine.

Chinese - Chinese Cuisine (in a Chinatown Strip Mall off Bellaire between Corporate and Beltway 8, near Sinh Sinh)...best thing in Chinatown west right now

Sushi - Azuma (Kirby), Kubo (West U)

    Italian - Damian's (Downtown)

Seafood - Denis' (Westheimer & Kirkwood)

Deli - Kenny & Ziggy's (Galleria)...the best this city has ever seen

South American - Cafe Piquet (Bissonnet near Chimney Rock)

BBQ - Williams Brothers Smokehouse (Acres Homes)

    Greek - Niko Niko's (Montrose)...of course! Mykonos Island (Richmond/Greenbriar)

Middle Eastern - Ephesus Grill (Galleria), Darband Shish Kabob (Hillcroft near Westpark)

I live pretty close to you guys too. I lived in Clear Lake for 2 years, in those apartments right next to Baybrook Mall. I live in Deer Park now, but still make my way to that area very often.

Perry's is awesome, you are right about that. You should try their pork chops next time you go...unbelievable!

Did either of you guys ever go to El Lago Burrito's when it was still there? It was on Bay Area, just past James Coney Island. I though they had the best burritos around, but now it's a mexican restaurant I think.

They had some very good burritos and they are indeed a Mexican restaurant now, but nowhere near as good as Los Ramirez (in the same building that Oriental Gourmet used to be in).
