I learned this valuable mantra when I was young and it applies to many things I encounter in the world when given a viewpoint I oppose: Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, What might be right for you, may not be right for some. But they got, Diff'rent Strokes. It takes, Diff'rent Strokes. It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
As far as delivery, I'd go with 1. Papa Johns 2. Pizza Hut 3. Dominoes. However, I've had bad experiences the past 2 times ordering from Papa Johns. First time, they were over an hour late (from the est. time) for a birthday party, had to argue with the manager because we ordered on-line the night before and he was still trying to deliver it to us even though the party was over. Second time, the pizza was just downright bad.
Little Caesars? You can't be serious. they make the pizza there at 7 in the morning and leave in under a heat lamp all day. I voted for Papa Johns, but another spot i LOVE is Numero Uno pizza, I'm not sure if its a nationwide chain or just here in California though.
I guess it depends on the location, because the one in my area is constantly busy, therefore the pizza is almost always fresh. It helps that our cleaning lady works there part time and she hooks it up. Anyways, here's my preference.. 1. Dominos (MUST be deep dish) 2. Little Caesars 3. Gattis 4. Pizza Hut Ahh I am craving some Frank's now.
Godfathers used to be my place but I haven't been there in 10+ years. Papa Johns is where we go now. The last few times we tried Pizza Hut it was trash. I will never spend my own money there again.
My personal favorite is Mangia Pizza. Their waiters are lazy assholes but their pizza is the best. If I make a pick up order, and they tell me the pizza will be ready in a half hour, I make sure to get there in 45 minutes because I know I'll be stuck waiting if I arrive sooner.
I became a vegan since I last posted in this thread, so my vote now goes to little caesar's, since they are the only chain that i know of that has vegan options and is always enthusiastic to accommodate weird orders. of course, nothing beats homemade. :]
I voted a while back for Papa John's and I still stand by it. I do find myself ordering Domino's quite often because using the online coupon codes you can get 2 large pizza's and cinnamon sticks for about $15 total (that's tax, delivery charge, and tip). All you pay for is 1 large, the other large and the cinnamon sticks are free. Even though I like the taste of Papa John's more, that deal is hard to pass up. Retail Me Not is a great place to go for coupon codes, it's worth it to check it out no matter where you're ordering from. Pugs
8 pages and no mention (that I saw) of Barry's Pizza? There is (was?) more than one, is that not a chain? Papa John's? Really?
I got a really good veggie pizza the other day at Candelari's Pizzeria. It's by my house off 99 & fry. But at their prices, it better be damn good.
I think the new Domino's pizza is great. In fact, I would probably rank Domino's above Papa John's now. It's also nice that Domino's is much cheaper than Papa John's because of all the great deals they always have.
