yeah those were quality. also, anyone remember the one where i think mickey, donald, and goofy (and maybe someone else) are going on vacation and they're pulling a trailer behind them going down a mountain and the trailer gets loose and goes through all sorts of crazy stuff down the mountain and ends up hooked up to the car again w/o goofy ever knowing it came off. i loved that one.
1. Fat Albert 2. The Flintstones 3. Looney Tunes, mainly Bugs Bunny 4. Scooby-Doo (all versions except the ones that featured cheesy guest stars and of course the ones that featured Scrappy-Doo) 5. Underdog 6. Bullwinkle I know Bullwinkle was a Scott and Ward cartoon and I am pretty sure Underdog was as well. These were great cartoons and also included Commander McBragg, Dudley Do-Right, Peabody's Improbable History, Fractured Fairy Tales, George of the Jungle, Roger Ramjet, Super Chicken, Tom Slick, The Hunter, Leonardo the King, and many more. Thank God for the Boomerang network. Cartoons are one of the few things I watch when I do watch television along with sports, Seinfeld, the Simpsons, Spin City, and vh-1 Classic, lol.
ANyome here remember the old Hercules cartoon? The one with the theme song sung by Johnny Nash? I remember being VERY young watching it. Hercules, hero of song and story Hercules, winner of ancient glory fighting for the right fighting with his might with the strength of ten ordinary men Hercules, people are safe when near him Hercules, only the evil fear him softness in his eyes iron in his thighs virtue in his heart fire in every part of the mighty Hercules! You can listen to that song here: http://www.tvparty.com/herc.html

Favorite Cartoons of all time, in no particular order: Dungeons & Dragons -- Loved this one Transformers -- More than meets the eye. I just sold my old Transformers for $1,400. I miss 'em, but it was worth it. G.I. Joe -- Yo Joe! ThunderCats -- HOOOOOOOOO! Animaniacs -- a TON of more adult-oriented humor He-Man -- the new one is cool, too Looney Toons -- can't go wrong here. And the music is truly classic. Tom & Jerry -- probably my favorite cartoon of all time of the slap-stick variety.
JERRY: (Singing) Camera, curtains, lights - This is it, we'll hit the heights - Oh what heights we'll hit - On with the show this is it! ELAINE: You know, it is so sad, all your knowledge of high culture comes from bugs bunny cartoons.
I do. Thats was good one. Probably the best "old school cartoon" is the old Popeye the Sailor. I'm talking the black and white ones. The art work is fantastic. When Popeye (or someone else) is walking down the street in those old cartoons, the background constantly changes and seems to be alive. You don't see the same buildings in every other frame and nothing else going on except the character walking. In other words, boring as hell. In the mid to late 60's, the studios took cost cutting measures and began mass producing cartoons. The cartoon world has never been the same
Does anybody remember that total Scooby Doo knockoff that USA Cartoon Express had back in the early 80s called "The Clue Club." I remember watching that show a lot when I was 5. I always remember watching Muppet Babies as well, but I kinda just watched it because it was sandwiched between The Real Ghostbusters and The Loony Toons show on Saturday morning. Others I liked: All the classics: Transformers Finstones GI Joe Thundercats Jetsons TMNT Others: X-Men Batman Spiderman Super Mario Bros. Supershow with the Zelda cartoon on Friday that they should have made into a 5 day a week show, or at least a Saturday morning cartoon.
