Okay, we haven't had one of these in a while. No, Fatty, it is not another "What Is in the CD Player?" but a "Who Are Your All-Time Favorite Musical Artists" - regardless of genre.

My top 5 are as follows:

    1) Miles Davis
    2) Pink Floyd
    3) Led Zeppelin
    4) John Coltrane
    5) The Cure

Honorable Mentions: Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sigur Ros, Aphex Twin, Moby, Joy Division/New Order, Rush, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Peter Gabriel, Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Horace Silver, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin/Mahavishnu Orchestra, Larry Coryell, and Freddie Hubbard.

It is nearly impossible for me to give a real list, because there is a large stable of my favorites. The ones that come to mind first are:

    The Beatles
    The Clash
    The Pixies
    The Kinks
    Hank Williams Sr.
    Talking Heads
    They Might Be Giants
    New Order
    Los Lobos

The list could go and on so I will stop for now.
