my favorite is "Man gets severely beaten for misplacing the rolleyes emoticon"

    others are

    Jurassic Park
Matrix Reloaded (haven't decided which one is 1 or 2, JP is probably first though)
The Great Outdoors is a classic from when i was a kid (don't make me start quoting it)
    Pulp Fiction is there somewhere

The Ring is the scariest movie ever

this might not necessarily be way up there, but it is damn hilarious and i'm glad it was brought up. even though they have to bleep a lot of stuff, i love tnt for showing this so much. and the best damn line "this ain't my daddy's watch" isn't even in the movie, it's in the outtakes. great comedy.

This looks a lot like my list, minus Princess Mononoke. And I would throw in Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Rounders, and The Shawshank Redemption.

Oh, and how could I forget: ROCKY 1-3.

Everyone thinks this movie is such a joke, that its hard to admit its one of my favs too. Great cast and very compelling. I still pop it in the VCR from time to time. Probably the only Kevin Costner movie I really enjoy.

Did you ever pick up that book I recommended??

Real Answers by Gary Cromwell (he was the man in charge of the second Commission formed in the 70s).

Its actually a short book and a quick read. I finished it in 2 days (however, I am known to read a book all the way through without stopping till I finish).
