That flick tripped me out. I was really into it, enjoying it, and then "boom!" There should be a law or something.
VANTAGE POINT was horrible...it wouldve been slightly better if you didnt see in the preview that it wasnt really the president who got shot....the fact that what i just said isnt a spoiler was one reason the movie was bad....other than that, way too much coincidence...
My favorite twist was that one slasher movie where I thought the bad guy was dead only he wasn't and started killing again.
For some really startling twists at the end of a movie, these were great: Don't Look Now (1973) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
How about Friday the 13th the original??? What went from a traditional slasher movie where the killer may or may not have been Kevin Bacon's penis was transformed over the span of five seconds into a series that has continued to this day. My friends and I were bored of it 98% through and then started screaming a collective "Oh s**t!!!" after it happened. Plus it inspired my favorite moment from this hallmark Boondocks episode .
Was really just a twisted ending, but sadly I chuckled at it. They didn't really "wow you" with a surprise on what all the tentacles/monsters were as they revealed that halfway through the movie.
"The Wicker Man" from 1973. I saw this movie on late night TV about 15 years ago. I still remember it well. I wasn't expecting the way it ended. Don't watch the newer version of this movie.
You aren't supposed to actually tell someone what happened in a movie without using a spoiler tag, are you? I've seen the flick (I enjoyed it) and was as surprised as you were, but some people here probably missed it and might want to see it on cable or DVD someday. You've ruined it for them!!!
