    1a. LOTR
    1b. Toy Story

    I don't think you can find a truly weak link in either of those series save for the multiple endings in Return of the King. Every other series seems to have a weak movie that screws it up. Star Wars - Phantom Menace, Indiana Jones - Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, etc. As far as quality film making for the ENTIRE series, these two come out on top.

    Look, I love Star Wars as much as the next guy, but Back to the Future is my favorite.

    Here's a review from a kid who is easily ten years younger than me (ie. born around the time of the first one) but I like his reviews. They're more in-depth than I would ever do, and I remember trying to recap the 2nd one to a group for over an hour back in '89...

    Anyway...
