The religious stance statment is hilarious to me. I purchase food based on whether or not I like the food, not based on what religion the owners are. You buy food to freakin eat it! I also love the fries at chic.
Why did you go to these crappy places? Well actually I don't blame you, food in Cincinnati is probably the worst among all cities of similar scale in this country.
Hey, I try to buy blue. You go ahead and eat whatever you want. I'm not telling you not to eat there, just saying why I don't.
Dooooooood, you are spot on here. I had that crap one time. One time was enough for my or anyone else's lifetime. Every had it when they put it on spaghetti? Disgusting. I believe a bad fate for someone would be to grow up here, with all of our great restaurants, and then having to move to Cincinnati.
There's a place in Vally View Mall here in Dallas that does a bad ass Bourbon Chicken...But I love Chick-Fil-A...Their breakfast chicken biscuit with cheese rocks...
Coincidentally or not, Cincinnati is also the most freakin' conservative town. Many locals have probably never had any food other than beef or chicken in their lives. A female co-worker once told me she thought shrimp tasted like rubber.
but the joke is in cows being aware of their situation, not the situation. so then the difference in it being a joke to some and not to others is the same differences between animal rights activists and people who couldn't care less.
wesnesked.. YOU'RE THE MAN!!! I used to LOVE Brothers in WestOaks when I was in High School, I had no idea they had another spot so close to me.. I'll be checking them out again soon.. THANKS!!
great great place, pretty cheap pizza too. btw, speaking of Greenspoint Mall, they have a chinese restaraunt ran by hispanics and there are these girls that shout out "FFREEEE SAMMMPPLLEEEE ORRRAANNGGEE CHICKKKEEENNN" with a THICK asian accent. I almost floored laughing when I saw they were hispanic. oh yea, my favorite place, any place that serves Bourband Chicken with my mac and cheese, and roasted potatos on the side.
Best NY style pizza I've found in Houston. They also have a location at I-45 and Cypresswood by the Super Target. I think they may have some other locations too, but I don't know.
Uuuugggghhh. Sure, they give you all the food you could imagine, but they (and pretty much in particular those "Japanese" places where they cook the food on the grill in front of you) don't always like to cook thoroughly enough. Less than three hours later...not fun...
When going to places like those, make sure they are working with thin (cold-cut thin) slices of meat. Otherwise, it is as you say...not fun...
They also have a spot in The Woodlands in the Grogan Mills shopping center. 2 Huge slices and a drink for under $5.00, you can't beat that. Another good NY style pizza is at Romano's on Memorial near Dairy Ashford.
I didn't know they'd do that! I always tried to scrape together excess sauce and load my rice in it. It's soooo good.
That's the way Cinci Chilli is supposed to be with cinnamon and on spaghetti. I've had it a few times and thought it was OK but would still take Texas chilli, no beans of course, over it anyday. Unfortunately most American Mall food Courts got nothing on the Mall food courts in Asia. Sushi, giant bowls of Raman, all sorts of fried stuff seafood, bubble teas and lots more. The ones in Singapore are really great because in one food court you'll have Chinese, Indian, Malay, Thai, Japanese and even some decent western stuff including fine French pastry. Now I'm really getting hungry.
Giant bowls of raman? That's what you call good? Interesting. How's the dog fried rice over there??? lol
