Lately I've really been getting into the song "Journeyman" at the end of Iron Maiden's "Dance of Death".
You know, the music threads here are very similar to "Fantasia"-The Sorcerer's Apprentice. You smash one thread, and five more appear.
The only last track I can think of at the moment is Cake's cover of "Sad Songs and Waltzes" on Fasion Nugget It's a good thing that I'm not a star You don't know how lucky you are Though my record may say it No one will play it Sad Songs and Waltzes aren't selling this year...
I don't. I thought that was clever. And RM95, my office questions were just that... Questions. Now, if I had a thread that asked the same question over and over again, that would be similar. FWIW, I believe it is preferable to have Music threads asking about specific things. That way you can quickly determine which threads are intriguing and which are crap. The CD threads were too large to try and filter through.
Ah yes, it wouldn't be a normal week in the hangout without the resident anti-music troll aka FFB posting his usual insipid, sophomoric comments instead of just bypassing the thread and going onto something else. Let me show you something to read: Want to talk about music, places, people, a big ass Gordita or just any interest BBS users may have in common outside of the Rockets or specified forums -- this is the place. Politics, Religion, Race? Not here - Take that to "Debate & Discussion"- It is the friggin' FIRST one - your constant b****ing (which you will come back and say that you are just being "clever" ) is akin to someone b****ing about "comments from last night's Rockets game" in the GARM.
Jesus Christ, Manny. Do whatever it takes to get your panties out of a wad. My comment was in jest, pure and simple. I just said that in my last post. Good lord, son!
Only because there is this ridiculous requirement of 5 characters is why you see stuff other than the real post for this standard tired response:
I just thought it was funny that people got into a snit when the CD thread was closed last month, when, in actuality, it caused a music bambardment.
1. I believe this is the first time this topic of "Favorite Last Tracks on an Album" have been discussed (not numerous times like you implied in an earlier nonsensical post). 2. It is spelled "bombardment" not "bambardment". 3. You need to follow the advice of that tv show you have in your sig. 4. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I see that you haven't changed, so I am through feeding your trollish fetish with music around here - so welcome (once again) to my Ignore List, jabroni.
Of course, the snit came before the bombardment. I just don't understand why you can't just leave it alone. And with this, we should stop feeding the anti-music thread troll. Seriously. Hopefully back on topic to stay: I need to go through my CDs, but two picks off the top of my head would be 40 on War and Everyday on Everyday.
"Doin' Time" - Sublime - Sublime (LOVE it) "Bring it on home" - Led Zeppelin - II "Aqueous Transmissions" - Incubus - Morning View
Please stop feeding the derailment...it's what he wants. The Beatles - "Tomorrow Never Knows" - Revolver Bob Dylan - "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" - Blonde on Blonde
Good call on the Incubus. Always liked how they went out on a limb there at the end with the Asian motif and the frogs. I've been a bit out of the loop as far as they are concerned -- did their last album totally flop or what? They still around?
