I guess it would be my Mom's Enchiladas and definately her dressing (and turkey) Whenever she visits relatives and cousins, every one of them asks her to make Enchilada's for them. She was in Florida this past week and my cousin bought all ingredients so that she could make enchiladas just for him... to freeze and eat later. Lucky b*stard. And of course, there's Thanksgiving and Christmas when my Mom makes her world famous cornbread dressing. God, I love it! Love it I say!! rH
I can't believe I missed this one - one of my favorite topics, FOOD! Ok, I'll go pre and post vegetarian favorites: Pre Vegetarian (when I was a kid): 5. My grandmother's skillet fried chicken and mashed potatoes. 4. My grandmother's lasagna 3. Macaroni and cheese 2. Sunday roast and butter noodles (w/green beans) 1. My grandmother's pumpkin pie - I know this is supposed to be a "meal" but this could EASILY qualify. Post Vegetarian (as an adult): 5. Veggie stir fry 4. Tofu dogs and cheese or Veggie burgers and cheese w/french fries 3. Veggie plate (fresh corn, broccali and baked or mashed potatoes) 2. Any kind of pasta (lasagna, spaghetti) 1. My wife's pumpkin pie - even better than my grandmother's! mmmmmmmm I'm hungry! ------------------ AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! [This message has been edited by Jeff (edited March 31, 2001).]
