    I love French fries . . . LOVE . . . . ***LOVE*** . . . .

    Wendy's is awesome
tim562 -- you are DEAD ON about the ketchup -- Whataburger's ketchup is the best
Sonic Fries are really good, especially when they're not really hot, just sort of warm, a bit mushy . . . fantastic!
Chick-Fil-A's waffle fries are a nice change of pace, and they're great

But the best fries ever are from a place in Houston called "Burger-Tex". There's a few of them around -- best fries I've ever had. Slightly seasoned, cooked to perfection. Put them with the nacho cheese sauce and you're in heaven.

You guys realize Whataburger's ketchup is not magical ketchup and is the same as anywhere else right?

I would agree that the packaging is the best, but it tastes like any other ketchup.

    1) McDonald's
    2) Whataburger
    3) Chick-Fil-a
    4) Wendy's

Manny - Sonic has fries? ;) How can you not order the TOTS? That's like the best thing about Sonic.

The frosty-frie thing is definitely catching on. I remember when I "discovered" it as a kid (Also used to dip my fries in jello and whipped cream at school at lunch), and nobody else seemed to do it. Now, it seems like everyone I know does....

Burger King has the best IMO.

The Worst: Chili's ............in fact, Ive just about had enough of Chili's seeing as how they absolutely saturate everything they serve there in salt

Are you kidding me?? I love Chili's fries, they are my favorite!

As far as fast food, I can't get enough of those Chick-Fil-A waffle fries.

    you must like salt then

if something has a lil bit of salt on it, fine ...but i never ADD salt to my food and if there is too much salt, i can't even get it down my throat

Say what you will about McDonalds, but they will always have the best fries. It's no contest.

Wendy's fries are horrible. There is a Wendy's right by my house but the crappy fries is the reason I do not eat there.

Sonic cheese fries are good. Add a cherry limeade to the mix, and you're in paradise.

Home-made fries are dominant, especially steak fries aka the fat fries.
