Just wanted to add my newest fav: Tab Kit It allows you to tweak the heck out of your tabs...but most importantly, it adds extra rows of tabs if you're a tab monster like me. This is one that should be built into Firefox, IMO.
I don't see a difference in a new session. If you're loading an old session with 15 tabs, it's going to take a few seconds to load all of the pages.
Oh yeah- I forgot this one: Craigslist Image Preview- adds a thumbnail preview if a craigslist listing has a picture. Makes browsing craigslist much easier.
Coolest extension I've seen yet: PicLens Have to see to believe. EDIT- this thing just crashed my computer..but I have three different monitors running off of two different video cards. Probably wont be the case for most people.
^that's not an extension, sir. It's web-based application that has nothing to do with FireFox (although FireFox can access it nicely). Since 3.0 came out, I'll post what still works with my new installation: LittleFox theme - makes all toolbars, gui, etc., in smaller dimensions, for more available window width. Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer Tool 1.2.1 - allows viewing current page as TEXT-ONLY, good for developers Web Developer 1.1.6 User Agent Switcher - allows changing version for those pesky sites that say "IE", etc. Session Manager 0.6.1.13 - saves sessions and lets you restore older sessions FireFTP 0.99 - FTP client within the browser
Most of my extensions still work with 3.0: ABP Download Statusbar Image Zoom Menu Editor Scroll Search Engines SearchLoad Options SmoothWheel Stylish Now, if someone could create an extension that bypasses my network filters and restores youtube, myspace and facebook... I'm pretty sure I'd die a happy lady.
