Subway and Sonic are tied for first. Jack in the Box and Freebirds are tied for second. And all the way down on the bottom of the ladder is McDonalds.
No offense, but every Taco Cabana I have been to sucks. I've since put them on the "unable to perform" list and activated "Los Cucos". Los Cucos get's far more production without the turn over.
Freebirds Chachos on Westheimer - I'm not sure if they are a chain or not My favorite big chain is probably Whataburger.
Unfortunately, I have more than one, but I put Whataburger...Their Taquitos rock, the Whataburger with Cheese & jalapenos Rock and the best ketschup in the world... I also like Taco Bell, Jack in the Crack Tacos and Taco Cabana Fajita Nachos...Damn, I forgot, I love Der WienerSchnitzel (msp??)...
If In-and-Out was on the poll, it would definitely kick all those fast-food chains asses! HEY, I'M OVER 5000 POSTS! YEAAAAAAHHHHH!
sammich - Brown Bag Deli texican - 100% Taquito yardbird - Frenchy's don't care for fast-food burgers...
The In and Out in Roseville, CA is the only fast food joint where the drive thru line was out the parking lot and onto the street. The time, 11:30 PM at night! Nobody left the line either.
We just got a Culver's in the Woodlands Isabel....I can attest to their frozen custard and "Butter Burgers"....VERY yummy--not to mention the fried cheese curd!! Has anyone heard of Backyard Burgers? we just got one of those in The Woodlands as well, right off of Research Forest.
They have Backyard burgers in Memphis. Very tasty, but kinda expensive for the size. They've always seemed small to me. Do you know the address to it?
exactly... batter platters. anyone know of any more in or around the houston area... preferably close to the sw part of town? know of only two... one on hwy6, going away from 59 towards west oaks mall. the other is going north on westheimer and it's right before you get to the tollway. i always get a number 9... two fish planks and i forget whether it's six or eight shrimp. mmmmm...
These are decent burgers. The chain (which finally reappeared in Texas.... I noticed when one popped up in north San Antonio) has gotten more expensive lately, but they use good quality stuff. I just wish they'd give you more than a little handful of fries. (not that I need it... but that's beside the point )
