Has anyone had a McDonald's Southern Chicken sandwich? I've only seen them at the McD's on Cullen next to UH. They're McD's answer to the Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich. They taste almost exactly the same. Pretty amazing, coming from McDonalds.

I know I said Meximelt earlier, but I lied. My favorite fast food item is the 3-piece, dark, spicy from Popeyes. The Red Beans and Rice and or the Cajun Rice are pretty good, too. But spicy fried thighs give grease a good name.
I love the cripsy beef tacos form Cabana. 4 of those and I am good. Other than that I don't eat much fastfood. Jimmy John's rocks, I can't wait till the Rice Village one is up and going. Anyone have any new info on that?
About 20 years ago Whataburger had a fajita taco that was fantastic. Here's a tip... Buy a sausage egg and cheese taquito from Whataburger. Now you're thinking, "Put picante sauce on it," right? Wrong. Open a pack of picante sauce and pour the whole pack into your mouth. No, don't swallow it yet. Roll it around in your mouth, chew on the bits and do this for a few seconds until the spices tingle your mouth. Then swallow the picante sauce. Now, eat the taquito (without picante). For some strange reason, this changes the flavor entirely and is, by far, the very best way to consume a Whataburger taquito.
Jimmy John's is open! I just called them, they said they have been open for a 2 weeks. They said they are opening another in DOwntown in the next 3 months and 7 more planned in Houston. I am going to go there for dinner tonight SCORE! Vito time baby!
Mna, I haven't had fast food in over 3 years. But if I had to use a cheat day on fast food I guess it would be Popeye's biscuits. Edit: Whataburger shouldn't be considered fast food on account it takes 30min to fill an order.
I totally forgot about the red beans and rice at Popeye's. That is love. I would add the mashed potatoes and gravy and cole slaw from KFC. I can't eat anything like this anymore. My NZ fastfood fav is the mixed kebab.
I've been to In and Out Burger and Carl's Jr. - no doubt about it, A1 Thick and Hearty from Whataburger destroys all.
Bacon, egg and cheese taquito from Whataburger is da bomb. Double Decker tacos, pintos 'n' cheese, beef meximelt and beef enchirito. ANYTHING from Chick Filet. Ultimate cheesburger, chicken sandwhich and cheese curly fries from JITB. Steak and onion sandwhich from Village Pizza. ANYTHING from Chick Filet. My belly and I have a love/hate relationship.
I've been to the so-called "giants" of fast food burger supremecy. Whataburger I've been to a few times now, I usually get the Bacon Double Cheeseburger, and its satisfactory. make no mistake though, it is certainly no Carl's Jr Guacamole Bacon 6 dollar burger, which I can only get at 1 place in all of DFW (truck stop in south Dallas coming up I-45) And In-N-Out's double double is never to be ****ed with. extra onions. mmmm.
