Sinbad has the best crowd control that I've seen. He's got the whole package. I mean this guy doesn't even have to go to the racial stuff (which is very funny) and still just kills.

Drew Carey comedy is best for reading in my opinion. I think his stand up is ok, but reading his book has given me the most laughs.

I don't know why no one has mentioned Dave Chapell yet?

Bill Mahr's recent stand ups are much better than his old ones. He's still not elite though.

Seinfield is a great, but it's more the material than the comedian. Everything he has is material that he's been compiling since he was a teen.

Gallager sucks. Carrot Top is the only funny prop man I've seen.

Overall, even though Chris Rock is probably at the top of the comedy world now, I still would pay most for Sinbad. I'm fairly young though, so I don't know much about Murphy, Pryor, Wright, etc.

HBO had this guy Eddie Izzard on for his own special - hilarious! I've seen him on Whose Line is it Anyway On Comedy Central - not funny then. Also, John Leguizamo (sp?) had a couple of 1 man shows as well that were choice!

Sinbad is great too. Especially when he talks about growing up in the 70's.

The 1st host in SNL history was:

    George Carlin

Wasn't Robin Harris the guy who invented "Bebe's Kids"...? He was hilarious-- Bebe's Kids was about the least funny part of his routine. The rest was classic.

Gotta get you an UGLY b****. Pretty woman, she give you all type a ****. Ugly woman, you can lie, tell her anything, b**** don't say nothin' cause she scared to lose you.

Harris as Ugly Woman: "Honey, where are you going?"

Harris: "b****, I'm goin' to the Moon. I be back next week!"

Harris as Ugly Woman:"OK, YOU BE CAREFUL!!!! I DON'T WANT NOTHING TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!"

    ****ing classic.

    Eddie Izzard rules.

Bill Murray kicks a lot of tail, too.
