Encre Noire, Anucci, and The Dreamer (Versace) are three of my favorites. I'm also partial to Bijan for men.

Damn, Versace Dreamer is some old stuff. Still good though.

I want a bottle of Versace Eros. It just looks so cool.

This is like 1/3 of my collection. I couldn't get anything else in because they would be hidden by the front row. But if anyone wants to know anything before buying any cologne feel free to ask.

haha funny, i was just asking a friend which cologne to get. I'm not like most people on here, I odn't just pay for the cologne and go for pricey ****.

The one cologne that has stuck with me is the red lacoste, and I want to buy it again :(

I too worked in the industry for a little bit, and I was informed it was neck, wrists and behind the ears. Where body heat is most prevalent, minus your feet and dome.

For the hot weather, I'm rotating between Guerlain's Derby and Herba Fresca along with Frederic Malle's Geranium PM.

If you want something nice that's (relatively) inexpensive, get Aqua Eternity by Calvin Klein. Lacoste is pretty decent in that price range as well. They recently just released Lacoste Black (it might be called Noir). Check that out. My favorite by Lacoste is Essential Sport though.

This is very true. It is neck, wrists, and behind the ears. But this is more applicable to women. Guys usually have some social stigma associated with "smelling too strong" so I usually just suggest once on each wrist and then elbow if they want it to release slowly.

I don't get an ink smell from it. Is it in my top 5 or anything? No, but I think it's good for the price. It's spicy, has vetiver notes, doesn't disappear within an hour, and is fairly cheap. Here are some reviews :

Dreamer hits like a freight train from what I recall. I think I had to wash my hands for an hour to get it off after trying a small sample vial. lol.

Here's a cologne I bought that's OLD ... and uh... has an interesting name :

Go to fragrancenet.com, and always use the 20% code. There's so many options, I don't even know where to begin. For example, I just got 3 great colognes and they were each under $50. Versace Pour Homme (6.7oz for $48), Burberry London (3.3oz for $36), and Midnight in Paris EDP (4.2oz for $40). Going even cheaper, you can get bargain bin stuff at Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshall's like Cuba Gold (identical to JPG Le Male for $7), Cuba Royal (identical to 1 Million for $9), Perry Ellis 360 Red (almost identical to Acqua di Gio, a lot of people like it even better for $15).

What kind of scents do you typically like - we can prob make some suggestions from there...

Damn, nice collection! Got a few of the same pictured (JV, JV Artisan Black, La Nuit, HM). Might want to spoiler or downsize the pic, it's super-widening the page lol

Will have to put HiM on the 'to-buy' list based on your recommendation. And that Tahitian Waters sounds awesome, will have to test that out. Where do they sell it?

Versace Dreamer has gotten good reviews, but it was way too sweet and cloying when I first tested it out. May have to give it another try. As for Eros, this one has gotten pretty terrible reviews out of the gate, but I agree the bottle looks sick.

This guy has expensive taste . I haven't delved into the niche world yet, but when I do, Guerlain and FM are two houses I definitely plan on exploring.

Anyone here use Terre d'Hermes? I gave it a sniff a while back on a tester strip and didn't really like it. However, finally got around to giving it a full wearing on skin today (Pure Parfum version)... holy **** mind blown. Gonna be ordering a huge 6.7oz bottle of this when fragrancenet gets it back in stock.

What a coincidence, I literally tried it for the first time yesterday myself and I took quite a liking to it almost immediately.
